Bosch C7 model works fine for my two wheeler battery as well as car battery. My two wheeler battery is a 7AH Exide battery, while the four wheeler battery is 35AH Exide.
May be as its 7ah , the problem comes for a totally discharged battery . I have a hero maestro edge 2 wheeler if its battery discharges it fails to register it n goes to standby mode.
Bro so that means it can charge my 12v 8AH batteries too? Hope it won't damage the battery.. cuz I want a charger that charges my bike, car n inverter batteries..

C7 charger is very well explained 👍 Basically Adaptor mode is to recharge in normal way without disconnecting the battery from the vehicle. And R (Re-generation mode) can be used by fully disconnecting the battery from the unit and when the battery is fully drained then only (R) mode should be used as it gives more power to recharge the fully drained battery. Normal recharge starts automatically, in adapter mode you can use it as power supply. The charger terminals have power even if you don't connect it to battery in this mode.
Which device is best?
1) 3 Stage or 7 Stage charger ?
2) 5A or 10A ?
Well 3 or 7 depends on what are the stages 🤔. 5A will be slower than 10A charger in charging the battery.

both these chargers will work to charge a 35Ah battery . c7 will charge it quicker while c3 will take longer time .

If the battery is completely dead and no option to jump start can we use R function after removing the terminal from the car and then charge it to start the car?
no you have to remove terminals use R function and charge the battery first, if it come to life you can reconnect terminals to car after removing the charger and try to start it ,but this will take considerably long time due to oblivious reasons .
Can I use C3 on bmw 5 series ? Or will need C7 ?
c3 will also work if it has a 12V battery , it will just take more time to charge due to less charging current.
Suppose alto car is on long trip and suddenly battery (old) is dead then how much time will it taketo charge to just start
sir that depends on case to case basis, battery charge state , size everything matters , but i think 30 min can give you a starter

No not needed only disconnect terminals in regenerative mode ,the R mode

you can charge it as it is but only when you use battery regen function in c7 charger you have to disconnect the battery.
If battery is out in car can we use 3 pin power adapter from inside car and use this to charge the battery. Note - battery is not fully discharged, lights and everything is turning on, just that ignition is not working.
No sir you cant charge car battery using car battery using 12v to 240 converter as due to operational losses in conversation eventually you will discharge car battery.
@@ItsMytake thanks. So we need to have external source of power to charge? If that so, thn wht is the use of buying this, we can use simple jumper to charge from other car. Asking as i want to have something to use in case of emergency
@@rohitverma-ee1cs nop this is not a jump starter its a battery charger so if you dont use your car frequently then its battery drains this helps to charge that .
@@rohitverma-ee1cs sir this is a charger not jump starter its used to maintain battery health on vehicles which do not run a lot . its main purpose is ro charge discharged batteries & thats done in slow manner like a cellphone charger .

No not in normal mode . Only required if you are using regeneration function to revive a bad battery 🔋

For both c7 is a better choice as c3 will take more time
My inverter battery is inva tubular.can I use c3 on this ,which is completely dead.
I would recommend c7 as it has higher charging rate / voltage & regeneration function too but the dead battery can only be recovered if it's health is good.
lockdown situatin me, in car in standby, how often ne must charge? are safety precautions of c3 and c7 same? ( esp the ones where you siad ki poore gaadi me electric charge jata hai?) You can charger all batteries with this . For your case I will suggest c7 . Unless you are using regeneration mode in c7 no precautions are needed. Regarding charging battery of standing car once every 15 days will increase battery life

Will it charge my Himalayan exude battery and Tata Tiago car battery. Which is better among c3 and c7. Money is not factor compatibility and safety is.
If you want to charge both a bike n care battery, go for c3 as c7 will not charge bike battery if it gets low.
@@ItsMytake I believe you’re fimiliar Himalayan battery’s are slightly heavier. And someone also commented that it did to supported in their case. Also does c3 support lithium ion batteries
@Satyam Shukla c7 may or may not work, but c3 will work 100%. The charger is not designed to charge lithium batteries as its designed for automotive batteries

yes you can keep it connected indefinitely it will not affect the battery as it has trickle function .

When the battery is fully charged the battery level light starts blinking at the highest leave showing that the battery is fully charged n the charger is in trickel charging mode .

after the full charging light came on in c7, why the battery still showing white indicator???
Sir plz check the water level in battery. Also many times the color indicator just dont work for confirmation check voltage on multimeter.

yes withour removing battery connection. you have to remove it only when you are using regeneration in c7 as told in video rest use it with terminals connected.

Yes c3 will charge that , but C7 will not if the battery is totally flat i have faced that essue . Charging time will not be much it depends on the current charge state of the battery . For exact details i would suggest you to call bosch customer care .

Lol i have tested it in person ,have u ?? the smaller batteries when drain to zero c7 just cant detect them and docent start charging .

Agm batteries use gel instead of water in them those are sealed batteries , Maintenance free batteries .
