'Dumb rules’: Media personalities defend Holly Valance after accusing Australia of going ‘woke’

- Several high-profile commentators have thrown their support behind the pop-star Holly Valance after she slammed Australia for being too “woke”.
Ms Valance also labelled climate activist Greta Thunberg a “demonic little gremlin” in an interview with GB News.
Australian radio host Kyle Sandilands leapt to the defence of the former Neighbours star.
“I hate that chick too” Mr Sandilands said.
Sky News host Rowan Dean also praised Ms Valance for calling out the “weird world of woke” in Australia.

I have returned to Australia, after almost 8 years away OS. Australia is becoming an open air prison. There are rules on top of rules. It seems to be the home turf of snuffing out people’s enjoyment of life. Moved back on Jan 1, 2024. I have put my property on the market and am moving back overseas.

I used to understand Australia and thought there was something at our heart that couldn't change, then the pandemic happened and it exposed a lame, pathetic culture that is unrecognisable to many of us now.
Yes COVID in Australia was a real eye opener.Australians turning on other Australians who refused the jab,and treating them like criminals,police officers beating old woman for not wearing a mask,or arresting people for being in a different suburb to where they live,this is what fear done to Australians.Hitler used fear as well it's what made Germans turn on their neighbours and sent them to the gas chambers.

I was lefty before I had my kids. I started to think about what world I would want them to live in.
A world where they can play outside safely. Where neighbours still greet each other, where the young still have respect for their elders. A world where families are strong, two parent households, where boys have a positive role model in their father and daughters are taught to respect themselves and not become corrupted by a culture that treats intimacy as a commodity. Decency. Legacy. Tradition. Morals.
This world that I want for my children is not conducive with current liberal "values".

Nailed it. Aussie was awesome to grow up in during the 80s and 90s. It was fun and people said things as it was and weren't so sensitive about things they shouldn't be sensitive about. Why the hell should men in women's sports even be an issue now?
