im trying to save myself from spoilers (i doubt i even watch nl play it tbh) because sunless sea is my favorite game and its like the same concept lol do tell me though: is the games story linear? is there a start, end and a general structure to how the story is supposed to be completed or is it more like sunless sea where its a whole bunch of disconnected stories packed into one map, or is it somewhere inbetween?
Surprisingly this game combines fishing with lovecraftian horror just right. The artstyle is also beatiful and distinct. Hope u finish this one since the endings are pretty good.

Does anyone remember the name of that really old fishing horror game nl did a "lets look at" for. It was a 2d indie game, bird's eyeview shot, with darkness all around. You had to unlock lighthouses all around to reveal areas, fight Krakens, manage crew needs, etc

There is nothing particularly bad about it, gameplay is consistent, game mechanics and saving work well and I actually encountered no bugs (first game to achieve that in a long time), however it fails to retain the atmosphere throughout the progression of the story, and the ending seems kind of weak. If you play this, do keep to the games intended progression. It‘s an open world and you can take a different approach, but it gets confusing that way. It‘s not super long, 8-10h if you don‘t rush. 25€/$ is fine, I appreciate that the game was released in a finished state unlike so many nowadays.

Maybe it's just my CostCo, or it might just be an American CostCo thing, but most of the food is made in batches. Not to order. I understand the 8 minute time that NL gave about a whole pizza since it takes some time for them to get it ready for you. But any other time at the food court the dog, the slice, or the chicken bake is put in my hand the moment my card leaves the scanner. 8 minutes seems slow, especially for a CostCo.
@@asabovesobelow1362 I beat it in about 19 hours. You can take longer if you do some more of the side puzzles or less if you mainline the main story. I would recommend taking your time. The side tasks are kinda where it shines the most.
