My favorite thing about At the Drive-In. They spend all this time setting up the monitors for Cedric's voice, but then when it comes to the music, half of the time he is dancing and just yelling into the mic, or not at all. I love it.
it's such a moment of life that reminds you why life is dope haha. this show changed my life on seeing what a real no filler show all 🔥 best live band ever
I forever feel blessed to have went to this show and the next tour at the Metro. This show and the metro are the best performances I ever heard and witnessed in 32 yrs and thousands of shows. ATDI for life.
Lucky for me i grew up in juarez but nver got to see them. not even now. i hated that the only two rock radio stations , one being spanish wouldn't even play them
I am way out of the loop these days, but I feel like these type of shows are gone. The type of show where the band says "we're blah blah blah", no one has heard of them, but then proceeds to be completely blown away leaving what the hell they just saw and knowing they had never seen anything like that before.
@InterstellarBrad I'm with AFIEBHC, but you're entitled to your opinion. I can see someone not liking the direction they started going, (less post-hardcore, more prog and trippy) but to say it's ALL garbage? I call bullshit because there's songs that sound like old ATDI on newer albums. Just my two cents. Feel free to state your case (I encourage you to, actually) if you can be respectful about it. I like debates, not arguments.
It makes me LOL to hear the band whinning about people "slam dancing" when Cedric's screams and has an even more intense performance than most metal frontmen. Just stand still like the 40+ year olds that Tool are and people won't slam dance.. Anyways, good stuff and good band!
In music, success doesn't mean the real power of a band. Stop watch TV. Jennifer Lopez and M Pokora have success. There are Shit. Bizkit not so bad, but dont compare to ATDI.

I am pretty sure they stopped putting on shows, but the place is still open to bowl at, sadly.

Lucky for me i grew up in juarez but nver got to see them. not even now. i hated that the only two rock radio stations , one being spanish wouldn't even play them

@mdadmawdm 1st alpha centauri, 2nd chanbara
vaya???!!!
That song is this? que cancion es esta??
wow. amazing. i hate when people associate them with the term "emo."
They took everything from the early 90s emo movement and turned it into something new and original.
What's with the uh...stereo in the back?
that guy at 5:55 is lucky cedric didn't see him!
"i got pot mouth"
I'm 20 and I knew who they were before relationship of command. I just have a cool older sister
2nd wave emo crowds were the worst.
still better than the 9th
