My daughter is 2.5 years old and the only signs she’s showing is wanting to come into the potty with me and when we let the dog out, she goes “doggie peepee/poopoo?” & she hides when she goes #2…But other than that…not much…I don’t think she’s ready but I feel pressured to start training her :/ is there an age where they “are too old”/“too late” to potty train?
My son does some of these things but he isn’t talking he’s more so pointing. He doesn’t have a speech delay he’s only 15 months but should I wait until he actually because to talk more before I start potty training?
Okay...but what do you do if your child is turning 4 and isn't showing any of these signs?? I thought he would be ready at 2 but that passed and no signs at all, 3 came and still no signs at all. He will be 4 in a few weeks and I'm starting to worry.
You could always try a trial run of potty training without signs! It may be something to bring up to your child's pediatrician so his other developmental milestones can be assessed and make sure he's overall on track--he may just be late to the potty training game!
my nephew turns 4 in a couple weeks and he def. want to be left alone when he goes #2 and his parents change him right after. Thus far they never really practiced with him though. I'm no parent so can't really judge, but I wonder how long you can draw it out until your kid is just so done with diapers.
Idk if my son is ready like he can’t talk yet but he always follows me to the bathroom n he always try to flush the toilet I don’t know if that’s some thing or I don’t know
My don is almost 1 and shows all the signs except telling me verbally that he has to/did go (mostly cuz he doesnt talk much yet) Instead he will either pick one up and hand it to me or toss it on my lap lol does the same with clothes when he's cold or when we get ready to leave So I figured I'd get a miny toilet and let him check it out for a bit and slowly let him figure it out in his own time and at his own pace so that he feels comfortable and safe to use the potty Worked with everything else lol I did it with sippy cups too
I bough my son a potty i didnt show him i let him find it him self and when i saw him sit on it i talked to him about what its for and now he sits on it when we sit on our big potty 😊
Love this thank you!! First time mom and facing potty training stage 😬😂
You're so welcome!! You've got this!
Hi
Going to start this soon. My daughter just turned 2 and is showing a lot of the signs.
Awesome!! Good luck!!
Love the way you explain! So clear.
So glad 🥰

Some LOs definitely take longer than others!! And no, there’s no age that’s defined as “too old” or “too late”.
Thanks very informative 🥰

Every child is so different, you can always try and then take a break if you need to.

Great tips!!
Glad you think so!

Every kiddo definitely reaches these milestones at their own pace!

It could definitely be a sign!
Yesss my 24 month old is showing almost all these signs!!
Well then sounds like it's time to go for it!

What an awesome approach!! So glad you found something that works for you and your son!!!
I have 4 and my 3rd child is 3 and a half and hardly speaks but I really want him to be potty trained but he doesn't like having poo in his nappy
You can ALWAYS pottytrain your LO before they're talking!
My middle daughter sits on the toilet and she lets me know she partied in the toilet but then wants to put a diaper back on
That may be her way of transitioning to using the potty full time! Sounds like it might be working for her!
I am back in the comments 2 months later. Is fighting and screaming when changing diapers a sign. Pls tell me yes lol my twins hate it
I don’t necessarily think it’s a direct sign of potty training but it might be for them! Can’t hurt to start trying!

My daughter shows none of these signs
Sounds like she's not quite ready!
why r you posting ur face on yt tho
My daughter doesn't like to change the diapers.. what can i do about it
Maybe it's time to potty train?
His name sounds like the name of a great man. Ur baby
Awwww thanks! We like it ;-)
Why would anyone want to be potty trained?!
Hate how this is heavily implied that the mother is the only one potty training. Good info but it's not the 1950's anymore.
Our audience is generally (mostly) comprised of mamas, which is why we design our videos in this way ;-) but dads are also ALWAYS welcome here too!
I think this video is specifically for girl but if you have a baby girl try sitting her on the pot while u sit on the pot n poop
