I only went 140 in an 02 Z28 Camaro. Miss the sound of that LS1 starting up. I remember the last time I pushed it like that I backed off at 140 because I glanced at the temp gauge and it was pegged at the H! I freaked out, I immediately shut her off and through it in neutral. Managed to pull off the highway into a gas station. I thought that I surely blew a head gasket. Let it cool off and through some coolant in. She started right up like nothing was wrong. Guess it was already low on coolant and it evaporated due to me running it so hard. I won though that's all that matters. Haven't had a car worthy enough of going back to Mexico in a while. Can only imagine how much stronger the pulls feel with forced induction?
