I also like using mild, muted colors! I usually use the grey zebra mild liner for highlighting and then I typically use one tab color that matches the cover, unless I expect that I’ll use a lot of tabs, then I’ll use a few colors and make a little key for what they mean.
This video makes me so happy!! I'm a uber lover of stationary and completely appreciate the excitement here! This was super helpful! Thank you for your joy into the world!
The circle ones are brilliant, I have been annotating for r years now, but have never seen thoes anywhere, what I use to do is just put 1 sticky tabs on the paper pointing at top of the book, so it could been seen from the top which will indicate the whole page is important. But this is genius! Thank you!❤️
I love pretty stationary so much!! There’s such a big difference between the colors! I would own every single pen in muted green if I could, even if they varied only slightly!
I make sure I have a ton before I get started, makes sticking to a colour code a bit easier. But the leftover bits get use for non-fiction annotating. I have fewer categories, which helps.
@@aleshortforalejandra You've now introduced me to the Tombo Brush pens and I'd have never thought of using them as highlighters, sure for underlining and for lettering but now I've got to get that Yellow one you showed. I'm not a fan of neon colors either, I prefer pastels or a color like that yellow one! Ahh to die for! :)
i’m so glad i found this little gem ! i love annotating, i do in a different way from you but it’s still sooo interesting and fascinating to see how other people do it :)
i dont think a youtube video has ever made me fall in love but once we started getting to the compact ruler/bookmark and the embosser.. i mean i didn't stand a chance.
OMG, I never would've guessed that English is your second language. You speak it pretty well and don't have a heavy accent. I'm a crazy [ _chaotic_ ] color coding annotator. I plan on making a video on my channel, since a lot of people want to know the chaos that is my style of annotating. I have OEWBG on my wish list. I am hoping to read it this year. Also I enjoyed seeing the way you annotate. For some reason, I enjoy seeing how other people annotate. Those colors are STUNNING! 😍
Haha thank you! I've been in canada for a very long time so that always helps. We love a bit of chaos when annotating, it's part of the experience. I hope OEWBG hits you as strongly as it hit me. Thank you so much for watching
