Yea when I saw panthers hire Matt rhule I said welp Carolina about to be something. I watched him turn baylor around and it was unbelievable. He proved to me he was something extraordinary. As a cowboys fan I was hoping they would get him. Just wait panther fans, he's just getting started.
Rich Eisen “Jets” rants are fantastic!!!
Really needed this. Whenever I feel down a Rich E Jets rant really picks me up....
This was an amazing take. Truly a gifted speaker
Eisen actually animated instead his calm vanilla.
@@TehKaiser what ?
😂😂😂😂Rich you're killing me with your analogies..😂😂😂
Thank you for saying what I’ve been thinking for a while about management and ownership.
I'm so happy for sam darnold!
As the Jets continue to JETS* sam darnold is flourishing and possibly going to become the most improved player this season!
But have some faith! I like Wilson
(Colin cowherd may be right he has iitle Manziel In him) but I think Wilson, is gonna become a dangerous wildcard like player! I like it! And let Saleh build his defense and give some time to lefloor build his offense.
Wilson is gonna be fine...
Once he gets out of New York
Bruh as a panthers fan, all off season I've heard "he's a bust" "go get cam back" "draft Justin fields" all along im telling these people darnold was not the issue in new York
Hope most Jets fans have 2nd favorite teams for the time being, but I honestly do think Wilson can be great if they build around him while he develops. They’re doing it right up to this point.
Are people forgetting that NYJ are coming off of a 2-14 season last year? Like damn, Saleh and Douglas aren't wizards. Rebuilds take time.
Gotta give Zack some time. Its takes a bit to understand the speed at nfl level. Hats off to Sam glad to see hes getting a rebirth
Nfl is pretty slow mate. Like seriously it’s the slowest of like 8 football codes.
Beautiful Rant!
Darnold looked good last night. Sorry jets fans. In a giants fan so I've got my own problems
He wasn't that good. Kid got stripped 3 times because he had no pocket awareness and was lucky to recover the fumbles. Is he better than Zach Wilson so far? Sure. But it's not like Jets let a winner walk out the door
@@richardnguyen1520 he’s winning now tho…
@@richardnguyen1520 Those strips were like 90% the o-lines fault
@@richardnguyen1520 im a Panthers fan..our OLINE IS hot garbage
Just wait for Trubisky to make his mark somewhere next.
As a Bears fan, I fully expect to have this same rant next year when Daboll brings Trubisky to his new team and he resembles 2018 Mitch again.
Nagy is Gase 2.0
And we had the joy of having both of them.
That kid had the double jinx of being a Jet and playing for Gase. It’s good to see him have some success.
Was stoked when he went to the panthers. Big temple guy and half my school is there. Add in a great QB, this team is going to the super bowl
Thank you Rich
I'm a huge Jets fan. Thank God Sam Darnold got away and is doing good. I hope he has a great career with the Panthers. Maybe this team will change it's ways and finally get it together.
I really feel for the JETS fans. There has been a saying that I have heard a lot over the last number of years "Every player that leaves Gase-led teams ALWAYS improves." Darnold was very good at USC, he could've been better in NYC with better leadership & complementary pieces around him. Wilson was better that Darnold as BYU. When he gets comfortable & the pieces needed around him, he will excel.
I'm with Rich. Keep the kid clean and, believe it, good things are gonna happen...!
I love the Jets rants form Rich! :) The highlight of the show! :)
There isn’t a “right guy” for the Jets. Their problems go way beyond Adam Gase and Sam was never the problem.
I agree 100%, darnold never had a supporting cast to help him win.
And proper coaching. 1st Mr mumbles (bowles), then googly eyed Gase.
Something I hate is when people say Sam darnold sucks from what I've seen he is very talented even with the jets. Anyone with talent is gonna suck with Adam gase as their coach
Why Rich is 👍🏼 honest with disappointment and given credit when it due, Gase was a kryptonite to Manning, Tannehill, Darnold and many, ownership and front office are crucial, so happy for Sam!
All facts here. Thank you Rich
Preach it Rich! Also happy for Sam here, hope they go all the way.
Keep Pounding Rich!!
I agree with your rant Rich … Darnold is with a much improved team that tailored everything to protect Darnold’s start. It was never Sam’s fault mostly; but he didn’t help himself either with many of his self inflicted wounds.
Man this podcast is gold. 🥇
The delusions of a Jets fan springs eternal. "I think we finally got it... "
Never seen Rich go off like this 😂😂😂
Rich, this is quality content. Thank you
The last time I was excited about Jets was the Testaverte/Pennington era under Herman Edwards
Me Too! Buddy
As a Dolphins fan i feel yall. Couldn’t believe yall took Gase .
Del tufo trying his best to breathe during Rich’s rant is my favorite part
Thoughts about The Jets moving Teddy Bridgewater a season ago? He's always been good and might have helped Darnold dodge the mangling of Gase trainwreck?
Anyone who actually watched Darnold play could tell that he’s a talented, mobile QB with a lot of potential.
As a Bills fan I said it for 2 years get Sam Darnold the hell out of there and he becomes a different QB and lives up to the hype of that great QB draft class with the exception of Rosen other than that every QB that first round are ballin and some nice contracts are coming their way. Josh got a huge payday now it’s the others turn. I’m glad Darnold is now becoming very good and got the hell out of Gase’s joke of a system.
I don’t like the Jets, but always liked Darnold, so seeing Sam have this type of success 3 games in, in Carolina is satisfying.
Browns fan here. I empathize with this rant. Well done rich.
When Josh McCown is one of your benchmarks, you know you got troubles.
