then that basically means you're saying that you didn't ride the train which is basically fare evading so then they'll cut service because they don't see many people riding it
no recharging. In San Diego collage student are able to buy a pass at the beginning of the semester but the only down side was that if we loss the pass you could't get a new one. I don't se why not to extend that concept to middle or high schoolers especially in new york.
@@aqua2poweros699 People already pay toll at some crossings into Manhattan. I carpool every time I enter Manhattan via car. If it means a more pedestrianized city, then I am for it.
People already pay to cross bridges! Have a license or register a vehicle in downstate NY? Surprise a portion of the fees goes to the MTA via the MCTD. They said the same thing when MCTD was introduced and here we are again with asking for more money. The nonsense has to stop. The system is unsafe as it is and above ground is no better.

hmm i wonder when metrocard alt account forums will begin popping up :troll:
Great job, mta.
Brown m train 0:31
Nice update back to school student MetroCard version in 2022, MTA. : )
We college students have our own Metro Card too. People use it too. 😀
I want a queen metro card
brown M return confirmed
This brought back memories
Railfans will laugh at the brown M train
idk might be an mta easter egg
It should be 4 free swipes instead of three because what if you have to transfer out of the station to and from school?
They get a special type of Metrocard, not this version
Did the mta get rid of saturday rides?
Kinda sad that Metrocard will be gone by the end of next year. So last Student Metrocard video?
now how will student Metrocards and other reduced fare cards work when metrocards are phased out?
OMnY student cards buddy
They will get omny cards and physical cards will still exist.
Bruh one train car at L train rip lol
why not just have a semester pass that allows students go on unlimited amounts of times for a semester for a one time fee?
That’s a good idea and would be helpful
What’s that mean if you will not swiped, you not voted?

@@joefade786 Thanks man, I got it

Imma get 5 cards from someone and that’s free subway ong
The 2 door and car R160 (A) train doesn’t exist💀💀💀
3 free rides? Last time I used a Student Metrocard, I used 4 times in one day
transfers
Maybe that extra one was actually a transfer
Probably a transfer
3 rides 3 transfer so 6 swipes in total
Will the R262 be confirmed in the subway?
Dude those subway cars are on the next capital program 2025-29
I thought their giving the student OMNY
they changed it to the 2023-24 school year
The 2022-2023 school year is the last time that students who go to school will be using a Student MetroCard.
well rip student pass metrocard
So it doesn't need to be recharged?

First is the worst. They say. Congrats. You won a competition that no one was competing in.
Add it to contactless OMNY, so we ensure students don’t catch anything.
Stop congestion pricing.
Why?
As much as I want them to stop congestion pricing this isn't the vid to talk about it.
@@Cain-x do you want to pay money to enter lower Manhattan by car?
