And it only gets worse the longer the flight lmao… I’ve caught myself trying to take short cuts I knew better than to try and take including pushing my aircraft to its speed limits as well as pushing the envelope on fuel or weather

Used to proper airline CRM, these guys are something different. Whoah... Seemingly, they need some boxing gloves to set up that cockpit hierarchy inside of that Cirrus...

"I don't trust anybody" is by far the worst thing I've heard someone say to a copilot on this show so far. Dude, play ball or fly solo.

You fly with another pilot as a saftey gate to prevent any errors. While each pilot should be cordial with one another, (which these two are btw) blindly trusting someone, especially a low time pilot is how you’ll wreck a plane and kill whoever’s onboard. The high time pilot did what was necessary by grabbing the controls to prevent a potential issue. No time to be formal fix first, talk later. Aviate, navigate, communicate. It’s flight training principles 101. The low time pilot is not prioritizing correctly like when the cirrus almost incurred landing fees for staying up in the air to long in China. Guy was focusing on talking to ATC first rather than turning around. Also seemed liked the pilot relied heavily on automation. Automation dependency is a common trait among unskilled pilots. Not trying to sound like a know it all, but the 10,000 hour pilot reacted appropriately. If the newer pilot has a problem with this he better take a step back and look at his hazardous attitudes. He’s inexperienced the other guy isn’t. Anti authority kills flight crews. I say this as a former flight instructor and current airline pilot.

@@sonicbhoc No problem. If you’re into aviation and live in the U.S. I recommend a discovery flight. They’re available at flight schools and usually priced at a discounted rate (100-200$). It’s a really cool way to spend an afternoon as you’ll actually fly a small plane with an instructor like these guys.
