- Jack and Colton explore the Colorado Rocky Mountains and hike to Sunlight Peak (one of three 14ers in the area) in San Juan National Forest. At the start, hiking to Sunlight Peak may not seem like a daunting task. This wilderness is blessed with rich vibrant colors and has an abundance of wildlife. However, our adventures turns into an intense scramble over sheer rock and rugged terrain after reaching base camp. Watch to find out how they reached the summit.

Im a huge fan of your show! We climbed all four of the 14ers in Chicago Basin in September of 2019. What a great experience! Sunlight Peak and "The Block" were a definite highlight!

You guys should probably tell the audience that the real summit was actually the summit block behind you....
If my memory services me correct they were not on the true summit.
My understanding is the survey marker is the official summit. However, The Block is the true summit but not necessary to ascend to be considered a completed summit.

Nice video! Chicago Basin is great. One of my favorite places to climb in CO. The train wasn't running this summer, so we had to hike in 😅 whew.

Oh boy, did I just watch all this to see you bail on the summit block LOL wow! Nice attempt- you 100% flaked out . No summit. Literally missed the best and coolest part. Knobs. Didn't even mention that there was something obviously higher behind you in the "summit" video. Unreal.
You guys missed Mesa Verde national park were I live. It's 20 minutes to the west of durango in cortez. Love my colorado area
I gotta check it out next time I'm in the state!
