A some performers train for solid vocals while in movement. I recall seeing years ago, LA Reid having Usher to run around the swimming pool while singing. This practice helps you have strong vocals that doesn't sound jumpy and breathless while singing and dancing simultaneously.

Well, Beyonce didn't really teach her anything. Chloe X Halle were a full package before they signed. They were singing since they were really young. I can give credit to Beyonce for signing them since that gave them more exposure and opportunities.

It’s the fact that both of her in ear monitors popped out during the dance break and she still stayed in perfect pitch all the way to the end. Some of the other artists had trouble keeping up with the crappy production crews that night and were placing blame and making excuses on social media afterwards. The way she performed treat me was less demanding; a great mash up of dance performance and vocal performance. Sound check clearly went well lol she topped the VMAS for me!!! Get it Miss Bailey!
She tried to perform it live in all falsetto and I wasn't liking it much this is definitely better.

@@rjsykes7217 all three of her award show performances were to a pre recorded vocal and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. Certain things just aren’t practical. She missed the cue on certain parts if you pay close attention. Especially the run at the end.

Why can't any of the guys sing live? The girls are held to a higher standard. She's giving choreography vocals and arrangements. A living legend in the making.

r&b male singers don't know how to get on their knees and beg anymore if that makes sense. Vocal agility is seen as more feminine now. Now with people like drake you can kind of sing in one monotone sound and still sorta sing without giving up masculinity
Nowadays most male singers and especially the rappers can't hold a note live. They're studio artist. Did you hear Ray J's pitiful versus? His baby boy was so embarrassed he acted like he was sleep in his daddy's arms. lol . I'm glad Ray J didn't have on his Raycon's while he was howling because he wouldn't have believed it himself. It was that bad!!!!

Sex appeal aside, she has amazing stage presence and she can singing perfectly while doing all of this choreography. Chloe really impressed the hell out of me. Got start listening to more of her music!

I could name drop several female artists who consistently looks like they're just going through the motions, or looking robotic, and Chloe is definitely not one of them.

She is so talented and absolutely passionate about music as we can see yet I def feel what you're saying as far as the performance doesn't supercede the 1-2 counts going on in her head which as a viewer is always palpable. Over time I see it happening for her though.

@@ASprinkleofAnime I'd have to disagree with you. To me her first two singles were very pop driven. Yes, they had some RNB elements to them but pop for the most part. And I still believe that her brand is what's missing in pop. We need more artists that give performances on stage. Not just performances where they sing and do choreography but where they sing with emotion, ooze sexiness and have control of the stage.
