    This is pretty much how you do it folks. You don't need to see him grind and hone in every step. Its about restoring old chisels. Just note, he used a marker on the chisel edge with a square before grinding to keep it straight. If you need in depth on sharpening, this guy and thousands of others have other thoroughly detailed videos on youtube.

    I didnt get a good look at the tip of it after he took the grinder to it, and I do realize that opinions very on much heat it takes to de-temper steel but why risk it and not slow grind it or dip it in water to cool it down?
