After watching 2000 hours, Sarah Chalke is now the very best guest... best dancer, warmest personality, speaks all languages fluently, is fun, smart, witty.. highly entertaining.. and she engages Secretariat and Geoff all the time... love love love.
yes she is the dream wife. And additional to what you said, she was in a frisbee squad, was a race walker at the olympics, was in a contemporary dance class, is part German and played the Cello. I mean what didn’t she do?

Damn, this woman is so gorgeous. Her mind, her wit, her looks. But what gets me most is her laugh. She's unique in a very good way.

Carson got bored and was just going through the motions for the last 7 or 8 years of his run. Craig is as good as Carson in the 70s when they would just sit around and smoke and bullshit with each other.

I used to watch Conan's videos before getting introduced to Craig by that wonderful Nerdwriter1 video. I mean Conan is funny, but I find every other show boring after Craig (except maybe Graham Norton, guests open up on his show just like on Craig's).

I've watched A LOT of Ferguson but somehow never saw Ms. Chalke. She is sooo damn cool. You'd never think there was a crowd of onlookers, it's as though it's just her and a pal chatting. Daaayum, her voice and laugh are pure velvet.
Funny, watching Craig doing an interview is like eavesdropping on a couple of people sitting in a nearby booth. It’s like he’s just hanging out having a conversation with a good friend. Very entertaining dude.

It's awesome to see someone 'evolve' into getting to know Craig and finding their rhythm with him. I always liked Sarah, but the first 2 appearances were short and a lil repetitious, but I think what made Craig so great was that after a few visits, he became 'friends' with people. and it totally shows in this this vid. Thanks again, JayLeno Fly.... I still want a shirt... *hint hint* :)
Morgan Freeman's first appearance was a by the books Late Night appearance and he was a little stiff but he came out swinging by appearance 2 and appearance 3 he was wearing a tie like a frat boy

I mean a little of that is Sarah is herself quite quirky.
By visit 6,7,8 Craig is really showing how much he can't remember, and I think it hurts Sarah that by the 8th visit he doesn't remember anything she's told him. He never remembers she's from Vancouver, or the first job which was only a few months previous, and so many of Craig's returning visitors he's got a shit memory. I mean, I get it. Years of hard drugs will leave their mark, but it also kinda says no prep. Because it wasn't about prep for him, it was being in the moment with the person to find the chemistry. Problem though is She is bringing him presents and feeling the rapport, but he simply can't reciprocate, and he's not remembering any of it.
If you consider never remembering where they're from, what they've told you, what you've asked, or anything aboot them, friends... then sure. Poor Sarah. She always brings a gift and makes an effort to bring up things she's learned aboot Craig...

Craig’s wife must be super cool. He chatted with beautiful women for years and was even flirty at times, but it didn’t seem to affect their relationship.
Megan is a gem.. If you haven't looked it up yet, there's a short one season series with him and his wife called "couple thinkers" it's awesome. I just watched the episode with The one and only Astrophysicist Neil D Tyson. It's incredible.
I think Sarah is the most entertaining of all Craig's guests, I don't think I have laughed so much during one of your compilations before, she even made the 'sexual' bits funny he always comes out with, and, she didn't seem to mind them either or dancing with the horse.

Though I do like Sarah, and having all of her appearances strung one after the other perhaps causes me to consider boosting her ranking, I still think that Craig had his best interactions/relationships with Kristen Bell, Lauren Graham and Rashida Jones (perhaps in that order), with a side order of Mila Kunis,only because her visits weren't quite as numerous.
john5002020 Hmm, yes I certainly agree on Kristen, Rashida, and Mila, although I would personally replace Lauren with Sarah and not only because of the number of visits either. Don't forget quite a few of Kr, Ra, and Mi's visits are counted as they all went abroad with him whereas neither La, or Sa didn't. Also I think Craig's big regret is he did not marry Kristen when he could have, or perhaps it's a case of he prefers much younger women, which of course his present wife is. I have always thought it funny he never seems to stay in any one job for much longer than a year or so, - (apart from being host of this show). The problem with Lauren as well is she was "Guest Host" on this show for 19 times in early 2015 as well until Corden turned up in March, - (personally I do not like him). I wonder if our expert "The Fly" can find any of her episodes as host.
I did not know that Lauren guest-hosted. But I think that she and Craig did a much better job riffing off each other and were more in tune--Craig can't even seem to remember that Sarah is from Canada, that they danced, etc. And with Lauren there is that hilarious bit with the cat and crokidilligator puppets which Lauren seems to ad lib through.
Yes I agree with what you have to say about 'being in tune', however a lot of the actresses who were on the show, several times he had the habit of asking where they were from more than once. Take Susan Sarandon & Scarlett Johansson for example, he asked about their tattoos every time they appeared nearly. Even Jen L Hewitt he had to ask more than once where she was from, - personally I think he should have checked those cards he tore up before he did so a bit closer. How about Ariel Tweto she visited 15 times or Angela Kinsey who I think visited 16. Out of interest didn't Craig already know Lauren from some time in his past, much like Mary McCormack.
I have to say this is the most 'forgetful' Craig has been with anyone; he asks her the same questions on every visit; she has to tell him the same things about herself over and over....and not once does she ever say anything about it; she just politely re-tells him everything on each visit...Then he didnt even remember that they always dance! gawd I love this girl!!

Both Sarah and Craig are two of my favorites. The Late Late Show was a little covert nugget of gold, and Sarah Chalke is about as free-spirited, humorous, and sexy a woman as has ever grace this blue-green orb.

The best Becky. The funny thing is that she was the one who was going back to school, and yet she's this brilliant learned woman. Absolutely adore her and everything she touches. Their rapport is intoxicating.
Yes... she and the primary actress for Becky were like night and day. Sarah made ya wanna actually like Becky. Sarah was just too charismatic to play this crappy self-absorbed and surly little teenage snot whose character only served to drive headache-inducing drama. So ironically, Sarah was a bad choice for the part. Elliot was PERFECT for her, and I can't imagine anybody else pulling her off as well as she did.

I'm not sure how I got back into another TLLSW/ Craig Ferguson binge but I'm not complaining. I thought it was weird that Sarah watched The Fly in a motorhome because for some reason that's the way I watched it too when I was a kid. Scared the hell out of me. Great video, as always! She's absolutely charming and her laugh sometimes remind me of Goofy. I got a bit sad that she got so attached brought gifts and had such a history of being insecure, snd Craig didn't seem to remember any of it. He's my favorite of all time, but this made me a bit disheartened actually.
I've noticed Craig seldom remembers details of prior appearances. How many interviews did he do? I can't remember dinner two nights ago.
But I think this very accomplished lady developed a crush on him, like a lot of women, and went from tight to giddy with him.

It's quite weird how after 8 visits, he remembers NOTHING about her, but she remembers everything. It's a bit sad, even she's a fantastic guest and one of my favourites.
By he remembers nothing I mean things like she's from Canada (Vancouver. He ask the same every single time), they dance always at the end, etc.
Drugs will do that... he is so smart and funny, and quick with his jokes, yet he never remembers anything about his guests or is completely unprepared, unlike most other hosts who always know what they will ask. Or perhaps it's just that he doesn't care.
Nothing weird about that...first of all he speaks with over 10 guests a week, secondly he doesn't ask these questions for himself but mostly for the public and the viewers, third...there's almost 1/1,5 year between each conversation. What would you remember.
Yeah, it's really too bad there isn't some kind of paper product that could help him remember what they talked about before. Maybe it would be blue in color and some young intern could leave it right at the corner of his desk! --smh
She brings him gifts, speaks German, French, dances, wears sexy outfits, has long toes and great shoes...pretty much checks all of Craig’s boxes, I have to say I’ve watched ALOT of Craig and I’m really surprised that he did not remember any details. Maybe he’s subconsciously blocking because she really does have his “attention”??
@@cathybaylor8922 If I was him, I would have watched every previous interview (or at least a couple) with his guests for that night, so he at least has some idea what they talked about previously. He doesn't seem to have a clue with a lot of them, and it's obvious when you watch the interviews back to back like this.

Any old folks watching? There was a woman who danced 100 years ago named Charlotte Greenwood and she was all arms and legs like Sarah Chalke. She played aunt Eller in the film Oklahoma when she was in her sixties. She could kick both legs higher than her head. There are a few videos of her dancing on YT.
