There is no show out there that will make you laugh as hard and cry in the same episode, even after you're all grown up, and still love it and want to watch it again and again. Hands down, and it's not even close, the best show and still my all time favorite. And knowing these goofballs are all good friends in real life, after all this time just makes me so happy.
Too bad lawyer Ted is no longer with us. One of my favorite scenes was when he was attempting to be a tough lawyer, but when he put his hands on the table they were so sweaty from nervousness they skittered out from under him and he cracked his head on that table, knocking himself out...busted a gut on that one
That one was epic! My other fav is when JD is in the body bag and the guy from the morgue beats him repeatedly over the head ... "Dead people should stay dead!!!"
Funny thing, and it may be a bit mental, but I watched nothing but Scrubs for a LONG time. It was my comfort show, the one I ALWAYS went to. Then I started watching The Office. Did the same with that. I'd say those two shows are absolute concrete staples in my life.
18:07 awesome that Neil auditioned for the role of Dr.Cox,obv didn't get it,but was so impressive they made the janitor role just for him, easily one of the best characters through the whole series.
That show is a depression killer, instant smiles and laughter.... I'll always love it. Man, love them all, the janitor is a legend....Where's the Todd and Bob?
@@pavelinaodkonjsk3907 stargate SG-1 is also in my top five, firefly, friends, big bang theory, community, I never did watch malcom in the middle, saw some bits and pieces though. Speaking only about comedy shows Scrubs is one of the best because it was written in an era that still had long season (20+ ep) tv shows on television and the competition was very high so many show runners tried to out do each other by coming up with different gimmiks, like filming in an abandoned hospital, using musical numbers out of the blue or adding strong character development which wasn't really a thing in syndicated television in the 90s. This is why i think the 90s-2000s decades is the golden age of tv shows, at least for us 30-40 year olds. Other comedy/heart warming shows that made an impact on me: Parks and Recreation, Community, Seinfeld, Friends, That 70s Show, Arrested Development, 30 Rock and Psych to name a few off the top of my head. After the 2010s comedy changed and it became more about cringe comedy, outrageous situations, exaggerated humor and very unrealistic characters so i cant even name 3 i liked...
Thank you. Whether these actors realize it or not, they have played a big part in so many people's lives. They have personally gotten me through some hard times with Scrubs, by injecting such wonderful personality into their characters. We love you all.
Scrubs is my all time favorite show. This made me so happy, and seeing how much they truly love one another is so special. Im currently rewatching Scrubs for the zillionth time, and even though i can quote it, i catch myself pausing whatever I'm doing and watching intently. Just an absolute masterpiece.
21:10 The "Bambi" episode will forever be engraved in my memory. Also, Carla's relationship with Dr. Cox... two examples of how her character was the tough love that made things balanced in the workplace.
This was so lovely. But it genuinely just makes me so happy to picture them having dinner and reminiscing. It's so lovely they are all still friends. They all seem like such sweet people. ❤
This show is so amazing, I don't know how many times I've re-watched it, it's really moving, and it really got to my heart. I've cried multiple times with the characters, hardest one was when Dr.Cox lost three people due to rabies. Man that really bust my tears, really felt with the guy. Sometimes I even skip some episodes because I don't feel like crying. Again, such amazing work from Bill and the actors, and yeah, season 8 was the finale for sure. Thank you for making my teenage years and bit better.
The best series of all times! I rewatch it every winter on my cozy sofa! It touches every frequency of the human emotion spectrum! I'm very afraid it's ended 😢
Watched this show as a kid back when families still gathered around the TV . I loved it then but was too young to fully appreciate it . Watching it again in my early 30s after experiencing love heartbreak loss and even moments of bliss .... the show hits so much differently. I laughed i cried i reminisced i finished the show i cried again while laughing and reminiscing 😂 . This show was a masterpiece (with the exception of the non existant 9th season that we dont talk about because it doesnt exist)
Would love to see the team come back as senior residents long in the tooth but secured in their tenures as senior medical professionals with all of them up for board member position… And the janitor should have elevated himself so ridiculously high due to sensible stock investments in the hospital (because he had faith in what the guys would do to the hospitals success and profits) he can be believed to have quit but he actually just semi retired to spend his spare time messing with JD on the low! Thank me later for the plot to relaunch the show we all love later.
My favorite show of all time. I rewatch it on a daily basis. This was an amazing reunion and I am so happy that all the cast and crew are doing great things still! Thank you all for your hard work!
one of my fav comfort shows of all time...Going into the med field during college and watching this show so often, i learned a lot of valuable life lessons.. I remember one of the earliest episodes that struck me so hard was when JD was taking care of an elderly patient and had to learn the loss of that patient....I cried so damn hard. It's something that i too had to learn while working in nursing homes. I love how some aspects of the show were so real and serious in this way but also comedic and lighthearted...thank you scrubs... EAGGGGGLLLLLEEE
Scrubs and Community - you don't get shows like that anymore - where the cast and creators are so honest and down to earth, and truly reflect the love of the fans.... bunch of legends!! 💜
Well good news is the episodes always hit at equal strength no matter what number of views you are on. So you can just pretend like its your first time and the emotions will match!!!
Wow, yesterday I finished bing watching the show! This is the cherry on top. I don't know how many times I've watched the whole thing but there always comes a time where I just feel I have to come back to it. One of my favorite shows of all time! Love you guys!
There needs to be a reunion movie ASAP! Omg!!!! Ideas: -writing in Teds death. Starts at his funeral. -Dr Cox is about to retire and eventually gives the chief job to JD. -idk what they’d do w Kelso -the kids of the characters are teens
this was wonderful :) when neil said 'it's not a jumpsuit. it's a shirt and a pants' i actually cried laughing :) favourite comedy ever, and when you see them all together like this, it's like watching an extended episode! and they just reeled off guy love effortlessly... amazing. we all miss sacred fart- i mean heart :p
My all-time favorite show, of any genre. I've watched it all the way through multiple times. This reunion was fantastic. Much better than the previous one, which if you saw, you know why ;)
This show was on when I graduated and started out as a respiratory therapist. It was a great relief in its sense of humor and maybe shaped how I handled days of work and saw what I saw especially in the first years of working with traumas and difficult situations. I remember feeling what they said Real JD taught them through the essence of this show. I couldn't stand the show ER after I started working. Too fake. The comedy in this show was something I looked forward to every week.
This was fantastic! Thank you to all of you for showing up and answering all those great questions. So I had no idea the song in the funeral episode was Joshua Radin! I have his song "Right Here, Right Now" on one of my playlist and don't even remember how I came across it. But as soon as Zach said his name, I paused this video, found "Winter" and added it to my playlist.
So glad I found this tonight (was just looking for which episode had the "West Side Story" parody). I love "Scrubs". I have the DVD sets on the shelf beside me right now. Man I love "Scrubs".
I used to travel a lot for work and the two things that always came on TV was The Deadliest Catch and Scrubs. I watched lot of Scrubs.. Love seeing them again together!
That was cool to see! I will look for a Scrubs movie. That would be great. I don’t know how you could re-boot the series, though. I don’t see that happening. But whatever they do - I’m wanting to see it. Scrubs is my all-time favorite TV show. Easily.
As for Zach, and JD's, non sports acumen, there's a scene where Dr. Cox is prepping the staff for the night as all 12 patients are still alive, Elliot brings it up and JD shushes her and very lucidly explains how when a pitcher in a baseball is working on a perfect game you should never bring it up. JD would have never in a million years thought of baseball and a perfect game. Even when Turk has talked sports to JD, JD never retains any of it. Awesome! Cheers!
I believe he would have retained that information if it was explained to him the same way he explains it to Elliot. I don’t think he draws that comparison from baseball as much as he does from how it was explained to him.
I didn't hate it but I felt like the characters of Season 9 were almost written as younger versions of characters we'd already seen like Denise Mahoney (carried through from s8) and Drew (the older, angry med student) were just a new version of Cox and Jordan. The new lead character, Lucy, was written as if they'd just taken JD's effeminate sider 1 step further, complete with fantasies. Cole was all of the worst aspects of 'the Todd' without the sympathetic element that Todd just did not know any better (as shown in many of his own flash backs to his quite confusing upbringing). The characters were supposed to be at the start of their Med school so their knowledge and what is expected of them should have been 4 years lower than J.D's first day as an intern but I don't think the writers of Med school were as accurate as in the previous 8 seasons. I wonder if the things that happened to the original cast during season 9 will still be canon when the catch up film comes along? (Bob going back teaching, Elliot being pregnant etc)
I used to live by where they filmed, and I loved the show so much it was hard not to geek out every time I would drive by! I was super sad when they got rid of that old hospital. :/
No Todd ? Disappointed 5 ✋🏻
I heard there was a reunion show where Todd made a surprise appearance in his banana hammock.
I was gonna say the same thing five ✋️
✋️🤌
He passed away :(
@@thebigdirty2107 you're thinking of Ted
The fact Zack and Donald are real life bestie makes me so happy but seriously though I love this show still to this day.
Zach* 😁
Not only are they besties they also bought houses right next to each other when the show ended
@psyclops973 and both have T Mobile 😂
One of the standout things throughout the show was the music. I discovered countless new artists from great songs in the show.

this was the best joke I heard all week. Thanks for the good laugh
Best part is... the closest we've gotten is another Bill project in Ted Lasso. Maybe I'm biased since I've been a fan of the sport for 33 years.
Never seen M*A*S*H before have you?
Try the original night court
Too bad lawyer Ted is no longer with us. One of my favorite scenes was when he was attempting to be a tough lawyer, but when he put his hands on the table they were so sweaty from nervousness they skittered out from under him and he cracked his head on that table, knocking himself out...busted a gut on that one
I liked when he was standing on the roof telling himself to jump.. His sense of humor was great.
Omg every time I see that episode I still crack up!
That one was epic! My other fav is when JD is in the body bag and the guy from the morgue beats him repeatedly over the head ... "Dead people should stay dead!!!"
And the understanding from everyone else round the table that they were all better off with him on the floor.
And then without missing a beat the cold, competent lawyer says something like “trust me you’re better off” 😂

Aw Bill’s voice cracking as he was emotional at the last second was sweet.
So glad they had Dr Jan Itor there…show wouldn’t have been the same without him!
I feel like his career has been pretty good since too!😊
Don't you mean subway cop.
I would have introduced Donald as Turk Turkilton.
I would have introduced him as chocolate 🍫 bear 🐻
