11:00 if anyone decides to go to a UC - they should definitely research the professors, what their research is about (especially their lab and department), along with all the courses to get a head start. I tried to do all that, but the public internet didn't really exist or wasn't that great and laptops didn't really exist, so it was really hard. So I actually downloaded every single course that had its own website, so if I have kids or want to share what I learned, I'll be able to! (preferably upload it to my personal website). Without doing that they should be born ready and prepared for every single course!
I went to UCSB and those computer science courses are just like what you're talking about. One person said they didn't know computer programming, so they just taught themselves a computer language by themselves just to learn the programming language they were being taught while they were learning it - for a summer course! This was the first course I took at the college - good thing for you it was much later in your coursework
I have never identified with something more than the pulley system comment. Before you said it I said OUT LOUD "oh yeah but we're in space" and then you said there was no gravity. Literally all of Physics haha
Current Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Maryland College Park here! Minoring in Neuroscience. I liked this video a lot. Thinking of recording something similar.
Thank you very much for this video. Can you please provide which specific stream has the highest job prospects and highest pay? There seems to be 4 streams : Devices, Imaging, Cell biology, Computational biology. People always suggest I focus more on the computational biology because of the job prospects. I am more inclined to be hands on and I feel Devices will be a better stream but I am also worried that it may be very research oriented without prospects after Bacheors. Would you please provide some guidance please?
11:40 I had questions like that, but there was one in math class I couldn't get right, because it was hard to read. It went like: a) e^b b) e_b c) E_b d) E_B like I can read all that when I'm taking a 50 minute test with 60 questions.
Can I Ask , are you in a relationship (e.g., married, etc.) 😅 I like your personality and I think WE would go well together, although we're in two seperate continents 💔
Thank you for those inspirational words. I'm ready to get my ass roasted in my first graduate class this upcoming spring. (Senior BioE attending UH Manoa)

You ma’am have quality content 😉
great comment
I wanted to do bioengineering - even though I didn't make it to UCSD, I'm glad I get to live it through via your channel.
Hey I just got accepted to bioE at Berkeley
that's awesome. congrats!!
Heyyy many semester are there in bioengineering?....
How*😅

just make sure you do the recording in your spare time - youtube's a lot of work!
these are my exact interests!
I am thinking about majoring in BioE and this convinced me ! You are funny!!

10:18 but I thought my school mathematically proved it to me in AP chem - maybe I missed some memo?
I've always pronounced PV=nRT as "purvnurt" in my head.
didn't we all?
intro was epic
Can you make a video covering what it is you do at your job?
hey can I talk to you about some questions about berkeley's bioE? I recently got accepted into the Master's in Bioengineering at UCB.
Where do Bioengineers work(Boston Scientific, Medtronic or big pharma) ?
Yep I see a lot of biotech (ie genentech, stryker)
You are SO FUNNY!! Stand up comic/genius
Hey kid, you're great. Love your video. Question, my son is a senior @ UCSD majoring BME. How do you compare UCSD with Berkeley... Good Luck.
Yeah, very good, thank you.
did you choose a certain concentration of bioengineering at Cal? thanks for the vid :)
thanks for watching!! I actually did not, I'll make a vid on bioengineering advice at cal soon ;)
Megan Amber ahh you’re awesome! thank you sm!
That manger, is FIRE!!!!!!!
Hahahahahaha xD
13:00 at least we know that Vit D is helpful against the 'rona
Hey Megan, do you have some course resources that you can share? Thanks for this!
How easy it is to change major???
Currently BioE major at Cal 🥳
Pretty sure she just roasted all the teachers she had at Cal lmao
I don't know how i got here but yolo. it's 3am
I feel that
👍👍👍
Hey why don't you spice things up 🔥
I'm so terrified of changing major and mess it all up DX
Bruh I forgot about Steele for a sec
I extremely want to study Bioengineering in UC Berkeley!!!!
Hope I will be admitted!(。ì _ í。)

Damn, I wish I were smart :-(
Me too
@@MeganAmber Hah, smart ass! :-p

yes we get it but imagine wanting to get into harvard and getting into cornell...yikes.

So basically you're an engineer who can't do math? Cool story.
I can’t w/ the level of cringiness
Ikr so cringe
