I saw Monty Python on a UK tour in Southampton in the early 1970s. When John Cleese walked out and said I wish to register a complaint, the whole audience starting laughing and cheering. Both John and Michael, came and sat down on the edge of the stage and chatted to one another, while we were trying to stop laughing. John looked up and asked, are you lot ready?, and we all started laughing again. It was magical, just the best
That sounds wonderful
That laugh of yours just warms up the world! This version of these two sketches is from a movie that redid a bunch of sketches as a "Best of" collection. I've always thought the Parrot Sketch is the funniest thing I've seen. The lumberjack song was originally attached to a sketch about a barber who was afraid of hair.
Classic Python! Never try to make sense of it though. Your laugh is contagious, my dear!
Lovely lady you have the most wonderfully infectious laugh and a smile to outshine the stars. I've been a Python fan since the beginning and though I'm now in my 60s, I still laugh whenever I see them. Sadly, half of them have passed on but their spirit is always with us. Keep reacting and keep that yummylicious smile and your gorgeous laugh beautiful lady❤️
🦜😁😂😂😂😂😂
PS Greetings from London, England 🏴🇬🇧
Probably the best Monty Python sketch ever, no matter how many times you see it, and I've seen it a lot, it is still funny.
Anarchic comedy at its very best. Python brought something new and refreshing to British TV in the late 60s/early 70s. This is but one of many fine examples of their work …
Simply a couple of the funniest things I've ever seen!
I was fortunate that my parents allowed me to watch Monty Python as a child. They were on PBS, kind of late at night. But I was I was pretty good kid. So I got a lot of wiggle room. These weirdos are responsible for most of my sense of humor. I would watch it, other PBS programming, Two Ronnies, Are You Being Served, Fawlty Towers, Saturday Night Live. I am a seriously screwed up person. But I can laugh, and I can make others laugh, and sometimes that’s enough.
Oh, and you’re adorable!
Yesss. That's exactly the same with me. I'm 14 and honestly I don't know yet whether they're responsible for me being messed up or whether they have just helped me cope with it lol. These people have a special place in my heart and have done since I was 8.
Back in highschool I literally performed the dead parrot bit. It did well
Lol I could imagine. 🥰🥰
Great reaction as per usual.. I still have you beautiful hilarious laugh as my alarm & ring tone . Keep it up ... 👍
Hello Island Girlz, thanks for another great video. This is one of my favourite sketches. Regards, Andrew
🥰🥰
No matter what you react to, I always have the best time watching your videos! You have the most infectious laugh and I always have a smile on my face while watching. Thank you for bringing such joy! 😊
You should also see the ARGUMENT SKETCH -- a monty python classic.
The lumberjack’s wife is played by Connie Booth who was married at the time to John Cleese (the pet shop customer).
Next thing to watch is any of the many productions of “The Four Yorkshiremen” sketch, which was performed by the Monty Python gang, along with many other comedians.

You’ll see John Cleese (the parrot customer) is in one production, Michael Palin (lumberjack) is in the other.
In this one you can see Michael and John performing the sketch along with a very young Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean, Johnny English)

Monty Python is great
Just a quick fact. The place they filmed the lumberjack song is a place called black park Which is in Buckinghamshire England. It is right next to pinewood film studios where they film all the James bond and star wars movies as well as many other top movies. I used to visit black park regularly and sometimes find a medieval castle built next to the lake. The next day it would be gone. I've seen most of the items you watch many times but I love your channel because you lift my spirit. 😃♥️
Classic insane comedy. It has been making people laugh for decades,
I’m loving it🥰🥰
Literally not one single thing insane about it.
Another Monty Python sketch that I think you would enjoy is "The Upper-class Twit of the Year" competition.
1:30 the parrot across through the f cage 🤣 I have vivid memories of my parrot when it was exactly on that possition. It was incredibly sad. But this is so funny because that's not even a parrot, it's a Papagayo.
🥰🥰
I love you’re laughter it’s so infectious it make me smile and laugh with you island girlz 🤣🤣🤣😘
Aww thanks @TommyLee thanks for watching 🥰🥰
Most people miss the joke that as far as I'm aware Norway doesn't have parrots. ✌️❤️🇬🇧
all monty python and fawlty towers is clean.
I love it how all you from across the pond see the British comedy shows are like & it's a shame we don't have these show's & them people today because in them the TV was so much better, other comedy shows like Love Thy Neighbour is very funny 🤣, only fools Horse's, Faulty Towers, Dad's Army, Morcambe & wise, Benny Hill,2 Ronnies, Porridge, On The Buses, Peter Kay car share kidnap a monkey, Comedians Dave Allen, Peter Kay, Jasper Carrott, Al Murray, Have a look at these & you will be in stitches have fun😂🇬🇧👍
Your laugh is simply glorious! :)

God-awful braying.
2 thirds of my life ago i laughted myself sick over these 2 sketches.
Also i wasn't allowowed to was MP back then. But i now realise that my parents knew that i had crept down the stairs to watch this show
I

Haha I keep sneaking my phone into my room to watch python too right now 😂 im 14 now I've been doing it for 6 years for just monty python, beyond the fringe and a few other similar things. 6 years, and I still can't get enough.
If you can find the "Confuse a Cat" sketch from Monty Python, I think you will like it!
Watch John Cleese in his "Minister of Funny Walks" sketch.
Will do🥰🥰
There's the awesome laugh again
Aww thanks. How are you. Hope all is well. The Tarzan is definitely coming that’s for sure.
Now there's a laugh I can get use to!
Checking in for another reaction video😊
Great reaction hehe
yep that canada allright.
This was so funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Joy!
You are so wonderful 🥰🤣💕
This is the same man from faulty towers you watched the other day (I know nothing)
An updated version of 'The Parrot Sketch' had the irate customer - played by John Cleese - exaggerating the "Pining for the fjords" line to a high-pitched "pIININ' fER THE fIiYYOOOORDS?" to such an extent that the shop keeper - Michael Palin - couldn't keep a straight face. John Cleese, seeing the effect on Michael, did it again, even more strained and high-pitched. The audience loved it and it was all Michael could do to press forward with his own lines. This version was in a production for charity called 'The Secret Policeman's Ball'.
You might like Tracey Ullman. She has a great variety of sketches. One I watched recently she was a doctor 'treating' a patient & 'recommending' drugs. All of which are illegal. She is known in America. She also impersonates ex. German chancellor Angela Merkel.
Classic comedy sketch
I love watching you your laugh cheers me right up. Try watching life of Brian a really funny monty python film
Aww thanks Paul 🥰🥰
I think you would love the Dick Emery driving test sketch please react to it.
I bet John was going to name the parrot, Eric.
Eric was half a bee, as in the song Eric the half Bee😀😀
@@richardhargrave6082 but can a bee, half not be...more a philosophical question...
Island girl and Swedish man can have the same humour... However different we are, we are the same when it comes to all the important stuff.
Hi please react to Clarke and Dawe "the front fell off" I love your laugh

Heyy Island Girlz
Blessings Island Girlz
Te deseo un feliz 2024 a vos y tu familia.
How about a reaction to a British 'whodunnit' Detective series called Death in Paradise, set on a fictional Caribbean island and filmed on Guadeloupe. Have these British based actors got the accents right ? Is the housing and police station as wooden as they show ? Tell it like it is Island Girl.
Hello, good to see you
Stopped it before the sketch was over.
Yay! You did it! 😊😊😊
Yes lol. Thanks it was worth it 😂😂😂
I wish to complain about this sketch...
In my 61 years I have known many transvestites...
And not all of them have been lumberjacks...
