As someone who wears company trousers the main problem is you get 1st pair in your size which instantly shrink on the 1st wash, so next time round you order 2 sizes larger which dont shrink.

I used to work as a boatbuilder in Antigua. I had a SII Land Rover with canvas tilt and no door side windows. In there rear I had about $3000 worth of tools. Once, parked at the Bar, someone broke in/opened the door and stole all my rare reggae CD's, leaving all the power tools alone.
I can see the attraction - would you rather chill out to the reggae or do some work?
As a long-term company trousers wearer, I can confirm that, when colleagues leave, their returned company clothing is always picked over by the rest of us, in hopes of finding stuff that a) is a similar size to one of us, and b) isn't totally ruined and can get a second lease of life on someone else's parts 😂

Someone has an over-excited view of a Celica 2.0 GT apparently, saying it's the one collectors would want. The one I had in the mid '90s - a 1988 Celica 2.0 GT-Four ... the WRC homologation special that was so brilliantly driven to WRC championship by Carlos Sainz. Now that's the one you want. Wish I still had mine. The only car I was ever stopped by the police while speeding. Fined another.

The "oh shit I'm late to the gate" sprint to your (shortly departing) aircraft is one of the worst First World panic gigs going. Don't Ask Me How I Know but I know for a fact I can outrun any of those travelator thingies at Heathrow and Changi and Sydney airports.

I think those two carriage diesel electric trains are not clutch slipping but in fact work like a Vauxhall Ampera in that the diesel engine is just a generator to make electric power for motion. So what you hear are steady high revs when pulling away (and lots of electricity is needed) then steady low revs when cruising. I think... 😀😀
Isn't a sunroof that only tilts a moonroof? That's what some other Paseo owners say about the opening roofs on our cars.
I work in aircraft services at an international airport and I can confirm that none of the work clothes that are supplied fit anyone.
We are not given tailored trousers. There is a closet of new work clothes of random sizes and when we ask for a replacement the few staff eventually go in there and throw us something that may vaguely fit.
I have two work trousers at the moment in rotation. Despite the label saying they are the same sizes, they actually have wildly different waist sizes and lengths. One is much longer than the other has a wider waist. I am constantly having to adjust my waist and belt.
You can smoke in the train stations in Switzerland. Last year I heard they were going to vote to ban it.
Can't wait for Rich to make an appearance in a barn find edition of the late brake show, and possibly even brother Greg on the podcast, smith and smith?
