  • Which of these pairs do you prefer? Definitely the newer ones for me. Except Bullseye, that one still holds up in my opinion.

    Hasbro's more recent figures are impressive, but there's a certain character and style to the old Toybiz figures that will always be nostalgic for me.

      Well might not see marvel figures with that much attention to sculpting detail and paint work any time soon, least probably so as decent of a price

      Not really, if you have both of them in hand to compare 😅

    Funny how a lot of these aren’t that much of an upgrade now. They’re all ok, but a lot could use a more dedicated sculpt.

      I've always said that about hasbro. Since starting collecting again since having the toybiz figures as a kid l expected so much more. More everything, sculpted detail, shading, paint work, even better bases, accessories. I'm just barely adjusting my expectations and accepting what we got but with all the work toybiz put into even their worse figures you'd think a modern company would've taken the baton so much further

      Wish Hasbro would give more new sculpt to comic characters. They actually do a lot of new sculpts for MCU figures. Like for example the MCU Shang-Chi wave or Eternals wave, all the MCU figures have unique sculpt.

    Good thing about toy biz was that everything was almost molded, not just paint

    Wonder man is pretty hurt but the rest, if posed correctly can easily fit right in to current Hasbro display!

    Some of these comparisons aren't with toy biz action figures, their early series in the Hasbro line (Kang, Union Jack, etc)

    It’s crazy how well the Toybiz Figs still hold up today if token care properly! Some of these look just as good as the legends 🫡

    • @Stillfigurineout
      @Stillfigurineout  6 месяцев назад +1

      I'd say only a small portion holds up. Most look small compared to recent Legends and the cuts are dated
