Yes, it is therapy for those that are structured for sure! And I love it when things don't match and the artist says, "It is organic like nature... love it!". In other words, accept those things that are not so perfect. 😊 art has taught me great patience. It is amazing how art is so soothing. And if ya mess it up accept it or just start over. No big deal.
@@sandra_m_belz hahahaha. You remember watching Bob Ross wayyyy back (like me) ? We didn't have cable back then..we had only 4 channels.. I think he was on PBS 29 wayyyy back. I watched his shows beginning in middle school and still watch his shows when he is on tv today.... so calming.
Wow!! I’ve done alcohol inks for last few years & never tried this on wood!! Thanks so much for your video. I’ve now done a few & may be getting the hang of it. Notice some styles work better than others & depends on piece of wood. Challenge for me is to not get too dark. I’ll keep trying these as the r fast & fun & should make fun gifts.😁
you can sand your table and stain and poly it easily....it would look great...i use the cheap plastic tables at lowes or home depot...don't care about stains on those...:)
That is true! I have gotten to a point where I like the "character" that our messes have made. 😆 If we ever have company for dinner I just throw a table cloth over it. 😅

Yes! All those things ❤️ Like Bob Ross would say- let the mistakes be happy accidents ☺️

Yes it is easy to go dark because the inks sink in. It was on a whim that I tried it. Glad it inspired you!
I was so curious to know if I could use alcohol inks on wood and I am definitely going to try it now
Great! I'm glad this helped ☺
You can use the thin plastic cutting boards from the dollar tree to protect your surface. You just wipe it off with a baby wipe.
I use those too and they work beautifully

Pretty
Thanks!
Beautiful
Thanks!
Do you think you could use uv resin with this
That would definitely be worth a try! Lightly coat one side at a time. Since the UV resin cures so quickly, it should work.
I use 91% alcohol to remove my Alcohol Ink messes.
