Man I know nothing about baling hay, but your explanation is fascinating and your wealth of knowledge is amazing, bloody excellent videos 👍👍

I ran the NH version in a 3x4 of that baler for a farm here on alfalfa and once dialed in it really pumped out quality bales.

Andy, your vids are great man, I love seeing those machines working and thankful for the explanation on how it works. Simply ingenious machine! What does one of them hay cubes weigh? It appears to me this farm operation would be in trouble without your skills - both mechanic skills and overall farm knowledge. Thanks so much for sharing your daily encounters on the farm. Cheers.

Erated78 thanks man, what an up lifting comment that you made thanks glad you like what you see. The bales weigh 700-800 pounds straw bales are around 600 pounds, could make slightly heavier but that is the average weight. We'll run across truck scale every once and awhile to weigh them.

Another great informative video. Interesting how the bail is 4-5 times larger than what we use to make with a JD 336, and the same bail making mechanics and knotters are used.

If my Dad was still here and could watch this he probably would've thought why not bring the chopper in and you would be done! He was never one for baling hay. He chopped everything and blew it in the barn, of course you had to make sure the hay was dry or you would have a chance for fire!

Rodney Erdmann we actually did chop some that we were going to Bale to speed the day up. It rained about an hour after we got done baling.....2"of rain

    • @FarmingFixingFabricating

Monhaut Holsteins nylon pieces that line the bottom of stuffer chamber, we had a few stripper plates Brooke on back side of rotor and a knife on bottom side left of plunger.
