Dodgers really don't have the young hitters that Detroit would want for Skubal. THE PRICE FOR SKUBAL WOULD BE AT LEAST THE SAME OR MORE THAT SAN DIEGO PAID FOR SOTO.

I know he got rocked by the Angels but so did our Ace Glassnow by the Giants. I want Flaherty. He's a rental, he has the experience. He's the guy we need!
As a Tigers fan, they have to consider trading Skubal. Our offense is absolute garbage. One game they’ll get 7+ runs and another game they’ll get shutout. They need bats. Dodgers are a great trade partner.

That would be a serious "lowball" offer for Skubal. The Tigers would expect a Juan Soto return for Skubal who is young, cost controlled and has 2 1/2 years of Club control. Skubal is a Cy Young candidate and a lock for the All Star Game this year.
