Yeah.. One is from Newar community which has great traditional urban social life with jatras and culture binding community together with enjoyments at least twice a month with all families and relatives living very close within valley. Other is daughter of someone from rural village whose parents might have migrated to city and lost their traditional way of life and nothing new can give permanent satisfaction so they can easily decide to move on and migrant to other place and abroad if they get chance.
So the mentality depends upon their location of home town and ethnicity as well

    • @angrymaniac53
      @angrymaniac53 Месяц назад +6

bruh but the thing is newars are desperately trying to protect their culture which other ethnic group aren't willing to do. Do you know how many jatra and festival has been stopped in Newari community? But instead of forgetting, newars are desperately trying to bring back those things even ones that has been stopped. And let's be honest, the reason why newars have cooperation like guthi managed by people are simply to continue those tradition. The government has never really been that supportive. Even few years ago, they tried to sieze private property of these guthi. And non Newar haru newari culture herera this is "Nepali" culture not just newari culture vanxa but when stuff like guthi vidhek are going on, you guys calls newars veda budi and talk bad about them when they are trying to defend their culture. It clearly shows the mentality between people. The difference is one is desperately trying to protect the identity and culture despite everything. The newars too could have just not care like other ethnic community. Government trying to sieze property of guthi, destroying houses of newars in name of building roads without paying compensation, etc. It's not like these stuff are new. These things have been happening even during the time of PN Shah. No wonder why so most of the old generation newars dislikes and have bad impression of non newars. Tmiharu lai Kathmandu valley aaja kasto xa tyo aadharaat ma vako jasto lagxa ho? It's funny how you guys talks about previllege when all you guys do is "yesko khet ma tarkari phaleko xa Mero ma xaina so aaba ma Mero khet ma tarkari naropi yeskoi khet ma jotxu tarkari phulauxu aani yesko yesto khet xa Mero xaina vanera runxu". There's a big difference in mentality of people of valley and people outside valley. Valley yetikai bikash vako Haina aaru thau vanda. Hunu tw yesto buddhi PN Shah ko Pala dekhi nai palkiyeko thiyo. Nepal Mandal sanga obsessed vayeko manxe le Nepal Mandal jitepaxi tesle jiteko sab rajya ko naam nai gorkha nahali Nepal halidepaxi k expect garna sakthyo Ra😂. I guess it's just how humans are. Poor people talks about how rich people have it easy and stuff and rich people talks about how poor people don't even work and stuff that will make them rich and stuff. Just like how valley bahira ko manxe valley vitra aayera valley ko local manxe haru ko valley Ghar xa but Mero yeta Ghar xaina yini haru Lai Kya ramailo vanxa and valley vitra ko manxe valley baira gayera yiniharu ko yeta Ghar xa but Mero yeta Ghar xaina yini haru Lai Kya ramailo xa vanxa. It's just a stupid argument. People believes what they see and they don't see the full picture. They see some happy moments of other people, shows blind eyes to struggles and gets jealous of the happy moments and calls them lucky.

I then pursued my MD in the USA and secured a position at one of the state's top hospitals, where I earned significantly more than I did in Nepal. After spending five years in USA, I received job offers from two or three well-known hospitals there However, the salaries offered were insufficient to recover the substantial investment my parents had made in my education. My parents sacrificed a lot for me, and it is important for me to repay their debt and make them happy. And you do know why that is right? How difficult it is for people in US who get sick? Surely you wont advocate of similar system in Nepal.
Starting salary is definitely low in Nepal, I definitely hope that it gets increased, some way. I am pretty sure you can earn quite significant sum after a couple of years even in Nepal though in medical sector. Of course its not going to be like in US at any point. I doubt there are many countries where salary of Doctors are like in US.
On the other hand, I hope you explore things like how/why medicine and medical research in US is so much advanced. How they invest money in research etc. How thorough they are in their medical practices to reduce errors etc.
Anyway, I hope you make a lot of money in US, and maybe contribute a little bit of that when you have enough to develop health sectors in Nepal. And if you decide to invest in hospitals in Nepal, I hope you will consider giving better wages to your employees.

Only few who are very very hardworking ( enormous hardworking ) or someone who have worked hard since their childhood can achieve satisfactory.

People prioritize personal stability over national loyalty, especially when they've had to work hard abroad to achieve it. Many Nepali students take on huge financial burdens to study abroad, and once they find stability, it's only natural for them to focus on their own and their family's well-being. Expecting them to return and risk everything for the sake of the country is unrealistic unless the country had supported them in the first place. It's a privilege to ask people to sacrifice their hard-earned freedom for a nation that hasn’t contributed to their success.

    Nice discussion.
Personally, I agree with the facts that being from a well off family can give you more options than from a middle class or lower class family. The limitations that you have to face in day to day life is limiting your life to those issues and not letting your ideas materialize into its full potential. The lack of convenience to small things and lack of people in various sectors can lead to difficulty.
Exception: There are people who have done really well even if coming from a middle class or lower class family with very less income and less to no generational wealth. However it is an exception and very less people have been able to do it due to their luck, hard work, network, ideas, innovation, or some or all of the above.
However this kind of discussion is needed to address the brain drain that is happening to eventually be able to address in the long run.

There are truths in both sides. Having been living in other country myself, the most scary part is that the most of the youths living outside (not everyone) has mindest to complain and use them as excuses. This video also reflected a bit of that. Tara, bahira desh ma basne baini ko kura ma pani mero samarthan cha, afno lagi decision afai line ho vanne barema. There are thousand ways you could contribute to your country, Nepal ai aau savai jana vanne pani hudaina. The most important thing is the mindset to make the difference. Nepal mai aaunu parcha vanne baini ko pani kati kura ma aparipakkata dekincha, tara atleast she has good mindset and in right path to make a change, smaye sangai she will learn. I believe in change makers. Positive mindset to face problems is crucial in order to have any chance to make the change. The main problem is that most of today's youth think that the government is the problem and is not giving facilities. Well yes, at a certain point, it is true but we can't blame the freaking government every time cause as a citizen, we can bring changes if we want. The problem is that everyone wants a lavish life, and they think going abroad would solve half of their problem. It might solve some as financial stability and the ghar you want in Kathmandu but no one ever thought about the country they have been living in or the place they came from be it a countryside or city area. Desh banena tesaile baira jana lako rey, bruh tmi hru baira gayeko tesaile desh nabaneko ho. You can go, sabai ko afno ichhya ho but also if you can, you can create opportunity for your own and other while staying in Nepal as well. Baira jau, go make your academic and professional career but tmile j gareu tya, you should be able to give back to your country too tesari nai aru country develop bhako ho. Desh ko awastha yesto xa testo xa basne haina bhanxau tesari bhanda bhanda hundreds of thousands people have left, tesaile desh ko awastha yesto ho. Yet, sabai jana desh lai government lai matra dosh deu, but don't forget you are a part of the development of your country either you do it or not.

    Settle in Nepal? Nope.
Youth in politics is just music to ears and it's not going to transform the current situation of the country for years from now. I can't wait that long. I have my own life, my family, my responsibilities, my dreams and my wants other than hoping or worrying for the country. Also, everyone knows the situation of the country, especially people in politics so if they are not making any efforts, I think it's just in vain to say "Stay To Reform" or "Bring Back To Your Country" to people who have better chances at life abroad. No one wants a life full of struggle and staying in Nepal is not worth all those struggles. Getting into politics is not the only way to change what's happening in the country but it's the only way in the case of Nepal and I choose to not get into politics because I am not an individual who knows or wants to work through politics. The current people in politics are creating restrictions to bring changes in any way other than through a political way. So the only option left for me is to explore those chances at life abroad.

People have to make a choice , either you pick comfortable life or happy life. Some says, you can be happy and live comfortably but that is not the case in many people lives. I have seen rich people and living comfortable life but they were not happy. They were stressed and argued everyone aroud them. Ego was on the
top of their roof. Their happinees was just a temporary.
I have also seen poor people but they lived happily even they didn't have much because they shared everything what they had.

Both debaters agree that the current government is incompetent. While returning to Nepal to become a "desh changer" sounds noble, the reality is that my mother continues to pay taxes to a government that provides no support to its citizens. The rest of her income goes toward securing her children’s future. Shiwali argues that if we don’t return, noone can change the country, but Priyanshu counters that the youth aren’t responsible for the government's failures. And I unapologetically agree with Priyanshu because I have done my part. But what do I get in return for being a responsible citizen? A failed and systemically unjust government? Why should i put up with that despite having been as diligent as I could to the country?
Just because I am not a neta does not mean I don't want my country to progress. I am just respectfully not interested in being a political figure. I simply want the freedom to pursue a career that financially supports my family and for more privileged people, their dream, that makes them happy. So, If I simply want to become an educator with equitable pay and not be slammed with “oh she couldn’t become a doctor, thats why she’s a science teacher”, can i still do that in Nepal after returning from my expensive degree abroad? Or do i have to wait for my generation’s students to come and become netas and change Nepal before I can live my dreams I struggled so hard to achieve?

For a country to develop, we need a lot of skilled professionals. To achieve this, students must focus on their studies and placements. Parents shouldn't pressure their children to send money. If we need a quick change in the system, we need a new revolution led by youngsters, as seen in Bangladesh. Even then, it will take a lot of time to build a new system, with more challenges than we currently face.

Even the privileged are leaving the country. How can the middle class people sustain their lives here with this high inflation rate, no job market, no good policy, and many things? If the government can reform its policies like Priyanshu said, I will say to come back to Nepal. Nepal is still yet to be explored and has many opportunities for people.

She is right that there is no scope in Nepal, money yes it talks, but money doen't get everthing.Yes,people need to come back and try to change the system, and totally agree with you on how everybody is like Balen Balen, but nobody wants to be like him,how conveniently they is up to him, everybody is about the easy way around. It's not easy but isn't imposible too.Nepal's existence is in a critical state, added up with the convertion which is very disturbing for our culture, heritage, ethinacity everthing,so the best wishes for you for what you are doing, appreciated.

Both are right on their own perspectives, only thing that is misbalanced is our government, they made us think about if there is no people in this country then who is going to promote our country, another thought says if there is no value of studies and if there is no opportunities of job in this country then why should we have to be here if we can have a better future in abroad.

The main thing is everyone wants to secure their future, no one really cares about anything else and that's the thing which forces everyone to do something that everyone believes this is good for our future. It becomes so late understanding that life is just a loophole until you do something big after which you don't need to work your ass off.

people even have problem to manage food for a day and many people starve for days. Why will they even think about the responsibility of them for the country. they will think how to make life better and choose the better options. people have to feed their family it's better to go abroad cuz if they get bad jobs then also they can survive cuz the pay is high.
