Great video, there both great cars , though a g wagon surpasses the range rover
Great video!! I think this is an age long comparison in the luxury SUV world, and tbh I feel whilst they both are status cars, I think they lean a little differently in what they're really about. The G-wagon strongly retains it's old-school off-roader reputation just with a stately interiors, whilst the Range Rover has kinda moved-on from the old-school off-roader reputation to a purely techy luxury comfort cruiser. So, I think it all depends on what your taste is. But I'd like to point out a couple things, though;
1) I think the ideal comparison should be a G-wagon vs Land Rover Defender (the L663 model), and a GLE vs a Range Rover.
2) I think this particular Range Rover seems like a LWB model. To my best of knowledge, most range rovers (including the autobiography SVs) do not come with that backseat divider equipped with a control console from the factory.
3) Mercedes Benz had always been a leader when it comes to infotainment (even till this very day) and that MBUx in the G-wagon (though not the latest) easily out-performs the infotainment system found even in the latest Range-Rover....that should have scored against the Range Rover. Lol! Range Rover infotainments are always laggy and unreliable...in fact Range Rovers are filled with notoriously unreliable tech...lmao!
4) speaking of unreliability, that adjustable air-suspension on the Range-Rover is gonna be the first thing to break and ya better have a good warranty cos fixes don't come cheap...as you'll realize you may need to change the entire computer in the car just to get it fixed. Lol!

@@ridewithmiee the G wagon solos .... it's better than the range Rover in most things like taking the rides off road ...the G wagon will have better performance than the range Rover in hilly areas or areas with bump etc
