Back in 2011, i went to see em on my country, Argentina, funny thing is that, in the middle of the concert, lights cut off, no power at all. Tim and the band waited patienly for like, 10 minutes... No sign for the power/lights to come back, they started an unplugged concert... two or maybe three songs were played on this improvised unplugged. Myself and the crowd just loved to sang along with them, it was a funny and great experience. The power was restored after that, and the concert went on. Thank you Rise Against for all this years of great music and lyrics, that night, you were the real mvp, ill never forget that night, was the best concert i could've attended to during my childhood. 👑
The hook for this song, for me, goes down as the most poetic thing I can think of. "Are we not good enough? Are we not brave enough?/Is the violence in our nature/ just the image of our maker?" If I wrote something half as good I'd be too proud

Somehow where I live nobody knows this band. I changed this in my English class by making a presentation about them but it had to be under 10 minutes and about political music. But most of the people there like pop or rap. Sadly.

I just sometimes miss people having the same taste, I guess it are three I know having a similar taste. One is teacher, one is always skipping and one is always with people I do not like. So, I cannot really talk about music because it always ends up with people telling me I have a strange taste.
