I love how they always have their own unique sound in their music. It's almost impossible to not recognize their songs.

I'm afraid their last 2 albums have sounded way too much alike to not notice...not dissing them, as i have their 5 first albums but its almost monotone and too clean and polished. Rise against was about the edge at one point and that's been hammered out
That's the problem though, this song sounds way too much like many of the songs they've done before. I'm not impressed by this at all, it sounds like just another Rise Against song.

This song speaks about everything that's happening around us, this past week I've seen what war does to a country and its people, bad living conditions which no human being should live in, there's so much corruption in the world that you don't know where you can start to try to help and change all this. Thank you so much for your music that inspires me to stand up and try to make acts of kindness that can impact at least one human life for the better, can't wait to listen to the rest of the album, all the love guys.

I really like how the beat feels less formulaic than usual. I've always considered Rise Against lyrically one of the best bands possibly of all time, they demand emotion with their lyrics, but with each album their instrumental patterns became more and more predictable. This however, felt really refreshing, with a more fluid verse style, and the chorus stayed hyped up and full of energy. Hopefully this will be a new chapter for rise against, even better than ever with all musically experience they've accumulated.

As much as I would love their older style back, I don't think Tim can do the borderline screaming vocals anymore. This is unfortunate, as I feel almost all their songs since Appeal to Reason was released just lack the emotion and depth that their prior albums had.
