    We lost a good too many finals under Stein, while winning the most important one. Three of four Drybrough and seven out of eight League Cup, starting in 1970. But this Drybrough win was brilliant 👏

    Then we drew 2 2 with rangers again in the Glasgow cup final at the end off the season

    I was at the 4 off them in the early 70s lost to aberdeen 2 1 at pittodrie 5 3 to hibs got it back to 3 3 after being 3 down lost it in extra time and lost to hibs 1 0 following year the 4th final I went to dundee in the semi final jim brogan scored in the last min to take it to extra time kenny or Dixie got the winner in extra time but cos it went to extra time I missed missed my train back to glasgow but some kind celtic fans gave me a lift back on there supporters bus it was either maryhill or spring burn csc they dropped me in george square I got a taxi to drumchapel celtic played preston on the friday night in a friendly bobby charlton was Preston's player manager game ended 1 1 but they were selling tickets for the final the following day so I went and got tickets and seen the game that was a great final it cud have been 5 5 jinky got us were first drybrough cup I was at them 4 league cup finals wee lost in the early 70s rangers thistle hibs and dundee the dundee game was played during the 3 day week and power strikes it kicked off at 1 30 terrible crowd under 30 000 big tommy was dundee s captain and it was lashing down hail hail🍀
