I have schizoaffectic disorder. Because of this I can't wear both headphones or shower alone because of the noises I hear in my head that seem to come from outside of the shower or headphones. I can't go anywhere where crowds of people are talking either. Concerts are fine surprisingly lol
@@liv4177 I only shower when my husband's home, so at least then I know there isn't some shadow demon stalking around the house while I'm in there and I just figure the sounds are him. Like blaming the cat for ghost noises I guess. The trigger is anything noise canceling, so like the shower running.
I have the same disorder, it can be hard for me to go out in public without someone else especially if we go to a crowded place I’ll start to get extremely paranoid and I’ll hear people whispering all around me.
@@oatmeal4296 it's rough, brother. It's also extremely hard to explain. My best try is a few people are conversing but I can't always tell what they're saying. It's muffled usually. My husband is a good indicator of when I need to leave a situation because I push my limits to avoid questions and then I'm just catatonic for a few hours after. When the paranoia sets in, it's almost like my skin is crawling and I need to hide.
Lol I tried it and basically after a couple of minutes you get bored and start day dreaming and some people see it as hallucinating. And the music in your head happens to everyone. Like when you get a song stuck in your head
One of my previous apartments was that well sound proofed that I started occasionally hear classical music while laying on my bed. It was really weird, because it didn't come from the neighbours yet it was somewhat noticeble. Almost like a quiet radio playing below my bed. For a long time I thought I'm actually going insane, until I read that it's just something your mind can do "to not having to listen complete silence".
I had the same thing happen to me! while going to sleep, i've occasionally noticed my brain starting to play classical music. i also noticed a quiet radio playing one time, it was odd because it sounded so much like an old radio talk host speaking with a mid atlantic accent, but whenever i focused on the words or any details of these things, i would basically 'wake' myself up and they'd go away.
Wow so I'm not the only one that hears classical music at times. Also I hear like a lady humming or sometimes I hear children humimg. Very rarely I hear a old radio station from the 30s 40s an 50s. Just faint enough you can't make any words out at all.

I’ve had auditory hallucinations when I’m extremely sleep deprived since I was young, around 11 or 12. Either happened at sleepovers or staying up to play a game or all nighter for homework but I’d start hearing normally some kind of classical music or a melody I hear often. The worst one was recently when I kept hearing the TFT queue theme when I was laying down trying to sleep and it was driving me crazy thinking a neighbor might be playing it through the wall
@@inbeing3464 people are mentioning sigma bc in this video the guy said he started hallucinating classical music. Which sigmas mainly known to hallucinate as well. Its the melody hes always screaming about. he did not get this treatment lol
Same but I don’t think that’s exactly the same thing as actually blinding yourself and having headphones on that don’t even allow you to listen to your own thoughts full blast static noises. Even if you shuffle in bed you can still hear ur body and ur body against the covers or listen to yourself breathing. Or even your phone going off or anything else that will happen within those 2 hours
Worst feeling ever. I regularly lay in bed for 2 hours plus trying to fall asleep. Fucking sucks. But yeah dark room with a fan is far from sensory deprivation. This works even better floating in salt water. Even the feeling of gravity can ground you to reality
When I’m pretty high and really tired I can give myself auditory and physical tough hallucinations, the most vivid physical ones are shaking and the feeling of gravity changing, the shaking one is like I’m literally being grabbed and shook rapidly like a paint shaker, and the gravity one feels like you’re on a really tight turning roller coaster, audio hallucinations are typically music as well, but others I can’t remember.
Im pretty sure this is from the eyes themselves moving when the eyes are closed? Idk but personally it always feels a bit like a back and forth jittering and if i scrunch my eyes (focus on giving the muscles a task) it stops.

I always see the “worm like figures” everyday, i move my eyes and three seconds later, they move to the spot that my eyes were moved 💀💀
If you want, they're called floaters.. and they are quite common. I have them, they're also for the most part harmless... search it up if you want to know more.

That’s funny I hear the classical music often when I’m alone and it’s quite, sometimes sounds like maybe arabic vocals singing too. I’ve kinda pinned it down to the respective fans in the rooms I hear it in but idk I might be special.
As someone with tinnitus I already experience that noise on the daily 😂

I tried this when I was a kid and what I thought was auditory hallucinations was actually my mom calling me downstairs😭
hahaha when i was on shrooms i hullicinated a classical sound track while trying to sleep 😂
This seems like a pretty cool way for artists to get some inspiration. Like for musicians or painters. The best sort of inspiration is always the stuff that most outside what do you usually do.
I have schizoaffectic disorder. Because of this I can't wear both headphones or shower alone because of the noises I hear in my head that seem to come from outside of the shower or headphones. I can't go anywhere where crowds of people are talking either. Concerts are fine surprisingly lol
How do you cope with shower triggers though?
I hear humming or bell chimes sometimes, but the scratching in my ear drives me up a wall lol. My husband is a good indicator of when I need to leave a situation because I push my limits to avoid questions and then I'm just catatonic for a few hours after.
When the paranoia sets in, it's almost like my skin is crawling and I need to hide.
@@isolatedalien5696 Thank you for the insight
Lol I tried it and basically after a couple of minutes you get bored and start day dreaming and some people see it as hallucinating. And the music in your head happens to everyone. Like when you get a song stuck in your head

That sounds is unsettlingly similar to my air filter sound, that could be why I'm paranoid in my room.
hearing white noise isn't the experiment. it's sensory deprivation.
Bro said "WHAT IS THAT MELODY?!"
Ohhh that's why
It also happened to me
oh yay im not the only one that sees the worm like figures that i have been suffering from my whole life-
I used to see them when i was little and looked into binoculars a certain way. Idk how I just remember that.
Omfg yes
It is little particles floating in your eyes. It is really nothing to worry about, it happens to everyone.
Those are dead parasites killed by your immune system. If too much of those floating parasites corpse is in your eyes, you might be having a parasitical infection, you should go see a doctor.
Those are bacteria in your eyes
I’ve had auditory hallucinations when I’m extremely sleep deprived since I was young, around 11 or 12. Either happened at sleepovers or staying up to play a game or all nighter for homework but I’d start hearing normally some kind of classical music or a melody I hear often. The worst one was recently when I kept hearing the TFT queue theme when I was laying down trying to sleep and it was driving me crazy thinking a neighbor might be playing it through the wall

Try deep brown noise. I much prefer it to white noise. Let me know how it works for you.
Imagine this at a sleepover and doors locks and this on the tv on max volume
White noise is hard and rough. It's that deep brown noise, I can get to sleep.
k but tbf you're about to have your eyes covered and hallucinate anyway
@@joseywales7463 i always listen to a video called "super deepy creamy brown noise 12 hours" every night, its like a really really deep sub bass
I do this every night, I have a fan in the back ground along with pitch black room, im usually up for an hour or two just thinking about my life
Same but I don’t think that’s exactly the same thing as actually blinding yourself and having headphones on that don’t even allow you to listen to your own thoughts full blast static noises.
So just a normal sleep day for me seeing colors with my eyes closed hearing random music on the background in my head naah that just normal 😂😂

I always feel like I’m shaking when I lay down though-
I feel it when I stand still sometimes
Im pretty sure this is from the eyes themselves moving when the eyes are closed? Idk but personally it always feels a bit like a back and forth jittering and if i scrunch my eyes (focus on giving the muscles a task) it stops.

@@jessicadavis5444 Fr like y’all might have some problems
I sometimes had something similar during many of my Mri-scans. (of course not nearly as intense!) I would also often fall into a "semi-sleep state" due to the weird and loud rhythmic noises.
Homies geeked off the lack of vision and noise.
Whats funny is that ghost hunters do this and claim the hallucinations are ghosts interacting with them.
