This video is making me a little homesick. Born & raised in Provo, escaped to California in 2005. I hardly recognize anything there now whenever I visit, but D.I. hasn't changed.
I loved how you edited this video! Speedy quick, no lingering. All the info anyone would want. Great to see the brands you buy, again! So how many shirts do you think you touched in the 11 stores? By way of suggestion, there is sometimes a lot of unnecessary white space behind you in your office (I think its your office). Most resellers I watch move in a little tighter. I guess i like it better that way. Except for that, this was a perfect thrift trip.
I laughed when you swooped in right in front of that guy and grabbed the subwoofer, very smooth execution on that move, loved thrifting with you this morning.
Great video and find’s!! Question 🙋🏽♀️ when you want to know if a clothing brand is worth anything do you just take a picture of the tag? Thank you Blessings 🙏🏽
Im loving your videos. I have been looking for a way to make an extra income and don’t have a ton of money to put up front. What I’m most worried about is finding products that will sell.
Would you consider doing natural rummaging sounds instead of the music overlay? I get it if there is music already on, but then you can always turn it right down so that you can still hear the natural sounds and it still covers the music they are playing. No worries if it's not your thing. But it would be so mush better with natural sounds instead of the music. I know a lot of people who watch these kinds of video's prefer natural sounds, they just don't comment that preference. They just tend to watch the resellers who use natural sounds, or have very low sound music overlays if there is music on in the stores, instead :)
Your thrift stores definitely are better stocked than mine but I’m still able to find my share of stuff. Golf clubs are my bread & butter in goodwill. Clothing not so much because shirts and pants are $7. I’ll still grab those if find something worth it. I’ve started looking for alot of the stuff you talk about in your videos, since I started watching your channel I’ve found 2 pair of Oakley’s and a pair of ray bans also some remotes, mouses, and curling irons. I just try to educate myself so that I’m more knowledgeable than the thrift stores.
Not a lot loose remote and sunglasses in delco pa. I've been looking. I did snag some vintage gucci eyeglasses frames from an estate sale right after I started watching your videos so thanks for that😊 lol
You're really lucky that the thrifts by you price fairly low. Most polo shirts by me in WI are 7 each. I do see more and better things at my stores in the first few hours of the day, but checking fresh z racks mid day has really paid off for me lately.
Yep most resellers who are killing it live in isolated glory holes of used merch. Most of us scrape by. There are literally no other shoppers in your store. Went to the local Deseret here in Vegas just an hour ago..hundreds of shoppers. The place was usual junk pile. Spent $17.
Do you worry about authenticity of the sun glasses? I picked up a unique Ralph Lauren coat but I am frightened to list, in case it’s fake. Everything about the jacket seems real but it only has one tag. Have you come across clothing that only has one tag at the back of the neck. It has the washing instructions in embroidery on the tag rather that a white tag on the inseam. I have only been selling for a few months and doing quiet well. I am always concerned of selling fakes and eBay just cancelling my account!
I'm curious... what is the base sell through that you look for? Most of the clothing brands you picked up are below 50-40% sell through. Also, I suppose if you are not paying above $5.00 a shirt in essence doesn't matter.
With correct titles and pricing I think you can easily sell faster then the 90 sell through. For this reason I pick up shirts that sell multiple thousand every 90 days and just beat out the competition. If 80 sell per day why not mine? I look more at sell per day then sell through when it comes to clothing
@@nathanmoore7120 because someone will put “blue Tommy Bahama shirt” My listing will rank higher when I put “Tommy Bahama shirt Mens XL blue vented island zone short sleeve button down” Mine will get many more views while the first one in the example may get zero. Another person may list there shirt at $80 dollar when it’s only worth $40. When I lost mine at $38 mine will sell not theirs
@@JrideFlips I get ya! So what you are saying is - the sell through rate does not take into account the standard of the listing. Meaning it might have a poor sell through, because most people list items incorrectly which makes the sell through rate look lower than it actually is! Thanks for the thorough explanation mate 👍🏻
Goats is a Nordstrom house brand. I bought a pallet of Nordstrom shelf pulls and ended up with about 40 pairs of slides filling the cracks… ended up donating them all to our Church’s thrift store. There was simply no point
@@JrideFlips I’m in the portland area. I’m not sure why but they seem to lack in the clothing department but they make up for it in electronics and shoes. Besides, I get most of my clothes from other thrift stores.
If anyone can help... A buyer paid for a bat and the regular shipping $18 but sent a message to ship it rush and they would pay the extra. They need it by Saturday! USPS will cost $75. Do I just go ahead and select 2nd day air and ship it? Will Ebay charge their payment method or will they charge me the difference? Or am I being scammed? The buyer has 100% positive feedback. They also left a big thank you in my feedback. I sent them a message about the price difference but they have not responded. Do I just ship it or what? Please help. Thank you to anyone who cares.
suggestion...KILLLLLL the annoying repetitive background music pleaseeee....ur videos are very interesting and there is not need for music...thanks
Love seeing all the different things you pick up.
Thanks Paula I really appreciate you reaching out!

Lots of California are coming our way, looks like you did the opposite. The DI is the best!

Thank you so much, probably about 6000 items
You are rocking the editing 👏🏻👏🏻⭐️
Seeing your deserets makes me realize mine really sucks lol. Wish we had more than 1 around here. Im surrounded by overpriced goodwills.
Are you in Texas?
I'm truly amazed at how clean the items are that you pick up. Great finds!
Me too!!
Picked up my first hot tools item today! Thanks for sharing the knowledge!
Haha I literally just checked your channel 20 mins ago and I was like damn no new video and boom 😂😂 love the vids man
I really appreciate that! Thank you!
Yep, your thrift stores are better. Nice finds. I always seem to pick up Travis Mathew all the time too.
Travis Mathew is a great one. I wear that brand almost daily

Thanks for coming along!

I type into eBay search “brand shirt” example: Tommy Bahama shirt then I filter to sold items in the filter settings
Nice finds, I have been looking for more remotes, always had some, and more hair items such as curlers and such. Great info as always.
Thanks for watching!
Like you I buy almost anything to flip. My prob is storage space. How do you handle it?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge 😊
My pleasure 😊

I love both the Vegas DI I go there as often as I can
A lot of competition in the Vegas area.
we need DI's in the midwest! You and Osborn cleaning house. All I got to choose from is overpriced goodwill and salvation army.

One of the best and easier flips, my next video I’ll finally show how I ship them

Your prices at your thrift store are amazing. In Ohio the prices are double in Columbus
I actually moved from Columbus and did very well there 🤷♂️ what suburb are you thrifting in?
@JrideFlips I live around Sunbury and mt. Vernon. A small town called in centerburg
Wait, how do you get the 15% off at Deseret?
On each receipt, there’s a survey code for 15% all clothing items
@@JrideFlips oh clothing only, darn. My DI isn’t that great for clothes but I guess it could make $17-20 pieces more enticing.

Usps and ebay will charge. I wouldn’t ship it until they respond saying they’ll pay the $75
ahhh forgot...the pop sound...that is for kids videos...olololol
never put in music over natural sounds ..ruin the experience...i bet people would like it more without the music
Thanks for the input I’m always trying to improve, it looks like you’re in the minority but I will keep doing research
Naw I like the music
I also like the music 🎶
could you pass me your email, please? saludos
