thanks for this info. i tried doing this with gps babel, also gps visualizer, would not convert. will try this other program. does lowrance convert this gpx to a .usr ,or does it stay .gpx? thanks john
Brett - I have a Lowrance Elite FS 9 - I use it for SI. I have it set up on the starboard side of my pontoon fishing boat. I deploy the Lowrance transducer when I get to my target fishing area. So, the transducer is out of the water, while I am under power at high speeds and not trolling speeds. I have another unit with the transducer mounted on the transom for traveling at cruising speed. My question is - Can I turn on my Lowrance Elite FS9 unit for GPS, while the transducer is out of the water, without damaging the transducer? Thanks, Bernie
is there a chartplotter made for inland lakes that uses satellite imagery? ive been wanting it for a decade. seems ridiculous that the technology doesnt exsist on $1000 units.
Reefmaster Waypoint Manager for Lowrance program is the best current method. Just copy&paste the Google Earth folder directly into RWM. Then edit or bulk-edit waypoints to exact Lowrance waypoint icons and colors. Great program with many Lowrance tools.
That’s the first time I’ve seen that done start to finish. Great video.
Great video and on point with the flow of the instruction!
You can also do this with every current marine MFDs. Not just Lowrance.
This was the easiest most useful Video ever thank you so much!
Great information, can you do a video of how to make routes like this? Is that even possible?

Absolutely brilliant - thanks so much
Very useful and informative!
Can i just download them to my C-Map card or do i have to use a seperate sd card?
Can I use a four gig?
best video ever!!!! TY
Thank you for watching!
Is this always this many steps?
Looks like I have some learning to do
Does this save the waypoints to the unit or do you have to keep the memory card in the unit?
Once the file is "Imported" onto the unit, the file is saved to it. You can remove the SD card and the file will still be saved onto the unit.
@Russell Marine Products, LLC will your old waypoints still be saved on the unit as well?
How do you do that with Humminbird ?
Hey Leroy, We will be launching this video this week!
