In this video, we show how easy it is to blend and composite images using the new masking tools in Photo RAW 2024.5. Watch as we cut out a person from one photo and place them into a stunning landscape. We add realistic touches like water, shadows, and reflections, boost the midtones, swap the sky for a moody vibe, and finish with a cool LUTs filter to make the colors pop. ON1 Photo RAW 2024.5 makes experimenting with your photography fun and lets your imagination run wild with your editing!

About ON1
For a decade and a half, we've provided award-winning software to millions of photographers worldwide. We accomplish this by being different than other photo software companies. We put you the photographer first, and this means our customers have complete control over every aspect of their photography.
Today, most mainstream software solutions take away control of your photography by locking away the organization and editing of your photos into closed systems. These solutions sort of hold your photos hostage by only allowing access to the tools and features you need as long as you pay up and stay within their system. You should have control of what’s yours, and what matters to you with your photography.
Our Mission
To deliver the tools you need to organize, edit, and share your photos and to provide professional quality image processing, the creativity you desire, the service you deserve, and to keep you in control of your photography.

Our pleasure!
Sick and tired of seeing a sneak peek after sneak peek we’re halfway through the month of June release the update already!!
Patience! :)
Thank you ON1.
Nicely done!
Amazing! 👍
Thanks! 😄
Wish you showed how to bring in two or more images at thee start. I used to drag two image onto the On1 icon and it placed it. Does not work now. Hope you add this feature with 2024.5
You should be able to have an image open in Edit and then drag and drop images onto that.
A very interesting edit, worked well
Watched a few times but somehow missed how you appliedthe mask for the shadows along the side of the road, looked like some sort of line mask, as it looked like you only used the brush at both ends. Could you explain that bit? Same for the reflections
Like everyone else really looking forward to this update
I suppose he used shift click to draw straight line when masking. On the road it makes sense

Thanks for the clarrification, I have never used that option before
First, thank you for all the tutorials; second, how can you select the 2 points to apply the effect ( at 1:39 in the video)? Again, thank you and can't wait for 2024.5
Just by brushing in the local adjustment
I think your question may have been the same as mine, and the answer was "shift Click" to draw a straight line. I suppose brush width will determine width of line.
Will. have to try this out later
@@marklaurendet1861Thank you!
@@ON1Photo Thank you, what I was trying to find out is the "Shift Click" to draw the line for the effect.
How did you create the straight line using the masking tool when creating the shadows on the side of the road?
Click once, hold down the shift key and then click where you want the mask to stop
@@ON1Photo Thank you !!!
It would have been helpful if you showed how you got two images (layers) together in the first place 🤷🏼
Well, I downloaded the update today, restarted the computer, and started to check the new "super" features. The new AI super select did absolutely nothing - not even highlight segments of the photograph. All I got as I tapped on areas of the photograph were what appeared to be "boxes". I didn't even have the strength to play with it. I shut it down and walked away. Talk about a super letdown after all the anticipation. I have purchased this product year after year and this was just a magnificent disappointment.
Thinking of Switching back to PS tbh.
