This setup just makes it more apparent that HLVRAI is a JRPG. Gordon starts off dealing with passport cops and his idiot friends and by the end of it the Science Team is fighting an alien eldritch god.
i'm so glad that you recreated the visual of him laying down in the water, it's probably the best visual in the whole series and i swear nobody does fanart of it

i love that during the prototype rush scene that the main theme for shadow the hedgehog ( i am all of me) is playing in the background because as baaulp has said, bubby is just shadow the hedgehog.
i remember in one of the half life but the cast is commentaing someone mentioned how badly they wanted to see a final battle in an undertale style,you've done it and its amazing! rpops to nyou man!
In the act 4 commentary they said that if someone is ever to adapt it as a videogame, make it in undertale style so they can get a benrey full on bullet hell
The reason gordon is level 19 is due to all the kills, xp shared among the characters, In my logic, the npcs get xp and levels from certain clones, , recreations, and enemies, bubby clones and THE PROTOTYPES are sent off to make bubby more powerful, only coomer clones link to and suppress dr coomer a bit, tommy gets over xp over time, from soda, lots from living with sunkist, and a whole bunch of others, gordon gets MUCH less xp from xp share once the others are maxed, and low gain from normal, explaining the not yet maxed level, but can be shared, transferred, and gain xp from *ALL SOURCES*
This is SO GOOD, words can not express how much I love this, and it's amazing how you turned some scenes into almost a mini game, like the Bubby prototypes! The Benrey sprites are amazingly accurate and really cool, plus the Halo reference for his health (and of course the UT reference) is just... too good to describe.

opera de osium, wow, not expecting bonework here, but i remember that i thinks and still think that bonework and bonelabs still is a spiritual brother to the half-life series, even taking alyx, a remember having more the feeling to play an half-life game on bonework than having the feeling to play a half-life game on alyx, my comment was not related but i was feeling the need to say that, i don't even remember if opera de osium was in HLVRAI i need to watch it again(sorry if my english was bad)

hey i'm glad you liked it! the voice samples are probably mostly what you'd expect, the "oh" sound in "soda" for tommy, the "ort" sound in "passport" for benry and for bubby the "uck" in "are you that motherfucker that fucked up this whole experiment?"
This is unreasonably good and I wish the fight was finished. Only nitpick in this fucking perfect meme. Coomer's dialog should've been the "Guhguhguh" during the TF2 sequence, or an pixelated mimic of it. But I could see why it wouldn't have fit with the rest of the environment
Shame that the Dialogue is the same in the beginning like you are watching the same video. It would been Interesting if this person added some extra lines of dialogue of Gordon going, "NO! that's not true! You're real to me!" Kind of like that fan comic that Wayne Brought up in his act 4 behind-the-scenes video.
I also have this amazing game! It’s really fun and the secret part where if you wait after the prototype recycle then a portal appears or wait... I should’ve told spoil it!
It hurts my soul that the final battle with the passport guardian theme isn't here, please put it in, that would go so fucking hard and I would probably drink soda in celebration (to help me see faster and thus avoid the incoming attacks more easily)

All of the exp from the scientists that the team killed went to him
@@GabrielMoura-gt9jb it’s because they were already maxed out, so all the points get divvied, and funnel to Gordon cause no one else can take them.
Most of the kills were performed by Bubby, Coomer and Benrey though. Gordon’s kills consist mainly of Xen creatures.
