Problem is warranty online vs offline. We do not have authorised Service Center in India. We see people importing but is Lacking Service Center. One more thing Onkyo needs to be avoided if using in Costal side. Usually issues found with HDMI board
I have a SONY. HT-RT 40 attached to my 42 inch LG UHD Tv. My living room size is 12 x 11. For such a room, pls let me know if I can fix a 55 - 65 inch television. Also for the sound system, is the SONY HT RT40 sufficient, or if you can pls advice any upgrades or attachments for the same.
Thanks for your message. 65" TV will always give a pleasurable experience. With regards to Sony HT System, there is very little that we can do with it as it has limitations for an upgrade. So for audio you will have to build the entire system slowly.

YHT-3072 is 5.1 spk package with 5.1ch AVR. To make the system to Dolby Atmos, the configuration has to be 5.1.2 and the AVR needs to be 7.2ch AVR. So change the AVR first and upgrade the front 3 speakers! That should be good 👍🏻
Hi Can you give me an advice on speaker selection. My LCR is MA Bronze 100 Question is about surround speaker. Am in budget…. Polk T15 or Jamo S801. Or any other option.
Hey Dev, Thanks for your message. We are currently playing our hands with Onkyo RZ 50 and it’s definitely a great AV Receiver. RZ-70 is an upgrade to same with 11ch amplification. But in case you are buying only for atmos, then better to stick to 50 and add a power amp

Not sure why AVR costs so high in India, in US for e.g. Yamaha RX A4A costs $1300, that translates to about Rs107000, and thats the retail price, doesnt see a point paying Rs 63000 more for the same product. Around 1.25 to 1.3L makes more sense considering import taxes and reseller profit margins. But 170000 is insanely high.
I understand the concern Sridhar. When we have 35% import duties and 18% GST there is little that any brand can do to control the prices. The problem is not with the company or resellers, its the taxation structure as these products are in luxury electronics category.
Great content as always team touchwood . I love your all videos. One ahould also consider Marantz AVR 70, because it has pre out connections, which no other AVR can ever give at this price point. With pre out connections, a user has the option to join a separate multi channel power amp and make a killer upgrade step up in their AV set up.

Yes. That’s fine! Just check on how to setup the dual output to avoid the fluctuations issue!

Ribbon tweeters have been present for long time. And few brands use them over dome for more crisp sound.
