  • Today I will show you how to crochet the textured kitchen scrubbie using Mary Maxim Scrub it. This is made in the round as one piece. It is a simple, easy beginner-friendly project. It takes about 35 yards of yarn and 30ish minutes to make.

Hi Sheila! I love this pattern!!!! What a great idea without having to make two. I am putting myself on a crochet timeout for about a month (it's gonna be soooo hard). My hands have been sooo sore with some swollen knuckles or the space between my pointer and index finger making it hard to bend my fingers and also just a lot of stiffness in both hands, so I figured it was times to take a break. I wish all you ladies who put out such great patterns would just quit it hahahahah, I'm going crazy here and it's only been two days...uuugh, I don't think I'm gonna make it lol, but I know I got to. Anyway, I can't wait to make this and in the meantime, keep putting out your awesome chats...ok ok and patterns too. Have a great weekend.

Diane, I just had to try out the MM Scrub It...The yarn kept talking to me. But then I have to admit I seem to be always making some kind of kitchen item. It might be a problem....I cant be sure. LOL I hate to hear about your hands. I just came off of a 3-4 day break for the same reason. Do you have arthritic hands?

Me too. A big reason I started crocheting was to make household and mostly kitchen items. I just wrote about that on my blog. I wanted to try out the MM Scrub it....The yarn was calling my name.

When I looked at the written pattern for the scrubbie, I saw your post about the ripple stitch. I can so relate. I love doing it, as well, but can never remember how to get started or where my preferred pattern is. I think we may have the same favorite pattern. Thanks for finding it for me! Lol I'm going to try your scrubbie pattern, too. The bobbles are cute! Thanks!
