In all the "synchronicties" I've experienced watching your videos lately, I'm starting to wonder if you're something of a wizard 😂. Here are a few from this video alone: I was talking to someone the other day about Carl Jung's idea that Nazi Germany mixed with Lutheranism to conjure up the iron fisted fatalistic Wotan. This caused me to wonder if there may be something deep seated and ancestral within each person that causes ancient "demons" (not saying that all Pagans were evil or anything like that; I'm just saying one would be hard pressed to classify Wotan as a "higher angel") to become expressed regardless of what institutional religion happens to be practiced, and whether True Christiaity--whatever that might be--has any clearcut and foolproof safeguards against that. Based on the surnames in my family tree, it's pretty clear that the roots are in England (even if nearly all the branches floated across the pond centuries ago). And so I've been wondering if there's also a genetic root to my recent fascination with Anglicanism. One thing about it is certain--you guys have a bona fide mastery of language. I recently picked up a copy of a BCP and a 1611 Authorized Bible, and it was quite literally like hearing some passages for the first time. Very gripping, nearly hypnotic. And, of course, when I first stared looking into Anglicanism, I had this uncanny feeling I was approaching an old English monastery, and being asked at the gate "Whom do you seek", and hearing a bewildering range of Anglican voices give competing answers in a nearly hallucinatory Pythonesque fashion

Well, not quite "whom do you seek?" but

I've come to realise that there's no such thing as Anglicanism beyond a Wittgenstein definition by family resemblances, that's probably why I'm Anglican Catholic.

@@Warwickensis "What do you seek?" and "What do you fear?" may well be a monk's introduction to Divine Simplicity, inasmuch as those might actually be the same question, only considered from different human/temporal perspectives. My answer(s) at the moment are "to enjoy the salvation of my soul or to cope with being damned" to the first question, and "Inability either to enjoy the salvation of my soul or to cope with being damned" to the second question. And both answers seem to be formulations of my potential responses to the spiritual journey of "becoming" a vessel of divine mercy or divine judgement (or the "discovery" of which one I was always meant to be), which likewise may merely be different human words for the same thing
