In my country there is no official support for these mixers, and this video made me fix mine by myself for 1/3 of the price of a new one... thank you so much!

This is an amazingly well done 'how-to' video. I learned a great deal about my mixer, and that it may well need a grease change. I found your website and signed up for emails too.

Hello @Mr. Mixer, I have a Black KitchenAid Professional HD it's been with me for over 10 years already thanks to your videos I'm more confident to do maintenance. I plan to order parts from your store however upon browsing the parts it does not specify if it is applicable to my Professional HD. So my question is.. Are the Pro 5 Plus parts in your store also can be use to replace parts of my KitchenAid Professional HD ? I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you in advance.

I have a funny situation with a kitchenaid pro model I picked up at a flea market. when you plug it in, it works as expected… however when you touch any of the housing, it’s actually live and zaps you pretty mean. Took it apart, but I cant find where this comes from? Also hard to find any info on this online - perhaps you have any pointers?

Our pro mixer planetary drops down about an 1/8th of an inch and leaves a gap between the gear and the housing What do you think has worn out?

What years did the K4B run? I have one that is pretty pristine with the same bowl you have on the shelf. Quietest KA out of five that I have. Your videos are informative and incredibly helpful! I’ll be calling to order a several items for several that I own! Great content and thank you for sharing!

Love working on these. My question; if your to the point of a complete rebuild, would it not be cheaper to buy a whole new machine?

It really just depends on the individual person and how much sentimental value their mixer has. Some of these machines are passed down through the generations, and being able to restore them means a lot to some people!

I have recently bought a KSM70 (New Zealand market) as I'm going a lot of sourdough bread and pizza dough. My question, to anyone that might know, is how do you know if you are over doing it?.....The KSM has been advertised by KA, as being able to handle 4kg of bread dough (with an asterisk)....but I feel like it's already making noises that might suggest that it is struggling at 1.4kg (65% hydration).
I want to keep this mixer going for a long time without stripping the worm drive gear....has anyone pushed it to the point of failure and what was it that pushed it over the edge? how many KGs broke the camel's back? :) Thanks!

It killed me when you put the power connectors on backwards. Not the polarity backward, the physical orientation of the plugs themselves. The PCB has the orientation silkscreened on. I still watched the whole thing. I dont even have a mixer I was just interested in the internal design. Cool cool thanks for the vid
