Manito idk if you’ll read this, but I remember discovering your channel when you dropped your first arcropolis/atmosphere guide 2 years ago, and it really encouraged me to mod my switch, and make a couple smash mods myself.
It’s been a little over a year since I’ve stopped doing anything modding, or really switch related, as I’ve been going through College now. But just today, this evening, I had to the random urge to dust off my switch, and reinstall arcropolis, along with all my old mods.
I just got off now, and after not seeing your channel since one of your Metroid Dread livestreams, THIS was the first video in my recommended. In fact, this video was uploaded at almost the EXACT same time I started reinstalling.
Anyways, I just thought that was super weird, and felt like sharing. Your content is amazing, and it’s so cool to see your channel grow. Here’s to a successful and prosperous 2024 👏

Great tutorial! Can you do one for how to mod (replace) Smash songs for the ones you want, and change its titles please?
not sure if it's a question you can answer, but my switch tends to crash after 20-30 mins or so. I'm only using skin mods, so I'm not sure why it crashes.
I would love to do this though I'm unsure if OLED is able to, I may have to copy the files for PC, though I've haven't had time to sit down and test or do anything like that yet...

It's as if it's as simple as getting it and plugging it in to us it. It may be cheep for the chip, but the sauteing equipment and the practice not to brick you system is kinda hmm hard and expensive.
See I don’t know the process for the V2 and OLED switch because I have a modded V1 switch that was unpatched, so I did the rum method and now I boot mines up into cfw

Thank you so much for the tutorial! Just one quick thing. Hekate is now on 6.1.0 and when I try to boot through Hekate it says no main boot entries found. But I can still get into CFW with using fusee when injecting the payload. How do i fix this? if you know how and you definitely earned a sub from me too!
It wont let me move atmosphere into my switch sd card after i extracted it.
I did all these steps but when I boot up smash bros it isn’t the arcropolis version, I checked and I did install everything correctly can someone help me ?

I got ARCropolis to work and I can visibly see my mods with a checkmark next to them in the Mod Manager menu, but none of them are showing up in the actual game.?
Any luck with that? I ran into that same problem as well, and I'm unsure to how to fix it.
I recommend joining the discord and asking in the help channel. You can provide photos of your mod folders and it’ll help a lot in fixing your setup
how do you merge the two atmosphere folders? because i don't have the contents folder to locate the name of smash bros copy. in my atmosphere folder it doesn't say i have a contents folder that contains the name of the game

im having mild issues with actually getting it to recognise i’m on 13.0.2 like when i boot into the stock system it reads the game as being in 13.0.2 but when i try to load it with cfw it still thinks that my copy of ultimate is 13.0.1 any clue on how to fix it??
Can you tell me how I can make mods work with new movesets because each time I download one and I put it on the SD card it acts as if it detected a mod But after the game crashes what do I do?😢

yo, i've done everything in this and the how to install atmosphere video, and when i launch atmosphere everything works until after the switch logo shows up my switch just shuts down
delete contents folder in atmosphere. Lmk if that worked bro!

following every step exactly and the game crashes right when i get to 20:32. i only downloaded joker skins and the custom menu shown in the video, and also tried it again with no mods installed at all and it crashes every time

I turned off my switch after trying to delete instant attack pack because I kept getting an error message. After I did, I tried to reload fusee.bin to reload atmosphere but it only loads into Hekate? Is there anything you can do to help me? I can’t reaccess atmosphere
I just wanna let anyone know, I fixed this issue do to bad design on the tegrarcmgui app. I clicked the fusee.bin and it highlighted blue but it did not actually select it, you had to double click it for it to work. As for it crashing, I have the training modpack and when I deleted the nrohook, the training modpack was crashing my game. Hope this helps anyone who might have this kind of issue.
Make sure you’re injecting fusee.bin

You don’t need cross arc, just use the picture as a reference. I recommend joining my discord because I break down how to install music mods and other stuff in a smash modding faq channel, also:
Go to `ultimate/mods/` and make a `custommusic` folder and open it. Now make a `stream;` folder, inside that make a `sound` folder, and inside that a `bgm` folder. It should be `custommusic/stream;/sound/bgm/`
Place your custom music `.nus3audio` files in the `bgm` folder

Hi, I am having some trouble. I followed the tutorial (amazing by the way) and was able to get everything working . . . except the mods actually working. Everything is in the right spot, I get no errors, it looks exactly as yours does but no mods are working. I can see them in the mod manager but they all give me a question mark and just plainly don't work. Any ideas on how I can resolve this? Thanks for the help!

Do the bans make your permanently banned or temporarily? Does it vary?

So are you using emunand and loading the mods there? How could you play online with the mods? Or are you applying the mods that are wifi safe on sysnand and just playing with it there???

When ever I go online with the stock switch it works but when I go through CFW to use mods I get internet errors?

is there a way to open the mod manager by itself? i know what mod is crashing my game and i want to disable it without deleting it
when mods are disabled it adds a . to the beginning of the folder name. Access your SD card via ftp or USB (it's quicker than ejecting), go to ultimate/mods/ and add a . to the beginning of the mod folder

What if I play online private with my friend but he doesn’t have the mod?
If you’re using WiFi safe mods you can play with your friends or with random people online. If it’s not WiFi safe it’ll end the round if the person(s) you play against doesn’t have the same mod(s)

hello if anyone could help me with this issue it would mean the world to me thankyou... so i just modded my switch and i wanted to play smash online with online safe skins but whenever i boot up atmosphere none of my games are installed and i cant connect to the nintendo servers to download the game even though i have internet connection. HOWEVER i also added a CFW-sysMMC and when i boot that version my games are installed and i can boot up smash with my mods they do work but i still cant connect to nintendo servers to play online dispite having a stable internet connection
Are you sure you're not blocking Nintendo servers with DNS.MITI and Exosphere?

This is just definitely my problem, but I followed the instructions, and I got the message that new mods have been found and if I would like to enable them. So, everything should be fine, but the software doesn't boot up, it just says "The software was closed because an error occurred". I went through this tutorial many times and I assume I did everything right because Acropolis didn't send the config.json to me about which mods are conflicting each other (because I already fixed the Gooigi and Bubble Luigi mods). If I boot up vanilla smash ultimate it works perfectly fine, so I don't know what to do at this point. I apologize for yapping my ass off but I really need help.

@Androskizzzzz mb I was pretty vague on that lmao, but I decided it was just best to delete everything and homebrew the switch again and I decided to install my themes after I put the mods but then Atmosphere just crashed on me and I couldn't access the switch anymore, so I deleted everything again and homebrewed it again, smash mods and then themes and I realized my switch couldn't handle both at the same time, so once again I did everything all over again and I decided I didn't need the themes anyways and got the Smash mods instead and they work perfectly!
Wait, so do you need Atmosphére CFW installed onto the switch itself, or is it something that can also be installed onto the CPU/Laptop?

@DanKen139 if you have atmosphere cfw running on your modchipped OLED, then yes you can use this guide. If you have a stock oled that has no modchip, then this guide won’t work with it
💩....I just got a regular @$$ OLED Switch, so I'm sadly S-O-L on this idea,@@Manito418😞.... Unless I either get the mod-chip or a Stock OLED with one installed. I'm a do some digging to see if they're still any available & check for pricing. Thanks man.

Hey I did everything in the video as far as the other video like modding the switch etc. I came here and did everything as well, but correct me if I’m wrong, the acropolis folder isn’t supposed to be in the Ultimate folder alongside the mods folder right? Cause after I put my mods in and started the game up I gotten an error message as the game trying to start and I’m stuck on that part… is there any solution to fix this issue?

Upon first boot of ultimate with arcropolis, it’ll create the arcropolis folder in the ultimate folder so just leave that there. What’s the error message?
Are you able to add mods to the cartridge version?
As mentioned in the video, both physical and digital versions work with this guide

Arcropolis is specifically used for Smash ultimate mod loading.
My character mod is detected and I have it checked but they are not showing up, i did everything you did so I'm confused on why it's not working.
Make sure it’s like this example: ultimate/mods/insertmodhere/ with fighter and ui folders. Like ultimate/mods/insertmodhere/fighter
NOT ultimate/mods/insertmodhere/modname/fighter
Make sure there are no extra folders like that
@Manito418 it's all in the right place as I've said, the mod shows up in the manager, but it won't show up in the alts picker. I'm using the Roxas mod if that makes a difference.

Afaik I don’t believe it’s safe to use nso services on emummc. Use syscfw if connecting to nso services
