HHmm, hard to explain what I think I see in a short typed version, the water pump pulley got my attention first because it is 2 different diameters, the rear part is smaller, never saw one like that before, usually the pump pulley grooved areas are the same diameter and is probably why the part store gave you the larger belt in the beginning, as for the extra alternator bracket, yes that is the correct one and needs to be put on to take the stress off the thermostat bolt, and you are correct on what bolt it goes to on the water pump, could be an illusion on the video but the bracket that goes from the thermostat housing up to the alternator looks bent to me (further than the factory bend), hard to type in what I think I may be seeing but the slotted part of that bracket appears bent back toward the driver, which causes the whole bracket to be swiveled forward to meet the alternator, taking up the space for the other one off the pump (did that make sense??? LOL) myself I would take that rear bracket off and get the one from the pump on and lined up, then message the rear brackets slotted area (bending it toward the radiator) to align with the front brackets slotted area, when they are right the slots should basically line up about the same and the rear bracket will not have to swivel that far forward, I could be completely wrong on this but it kinda caught my eye is all, again sorry for writing a book here.
Thanks for taking the time to give me your input. The bracket coming off the thermostat bolt is definitely a little bent. I think I will take the bracket off and start with the water pump bracket and then mate the other bracket up to that. I’m gonna start over again and see what I come up with. As I look at it right now you’re suggestion may be right on. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks again!
