whilst this was a smart and nice to use when we had it, i discovered a major design flaw. yes you can bring out the tray to "clear" the crap down below. however the tray only cover some of the area and doesnt take into account the small ridge just above it that also collects most o the crumbs etc. and it would be a pain to get that out
my toaster goes regulary into an alarm state: all LEDs flicker and the toast remains at the bottom. After the toaster is unplugged for at least 10 minutes , it works again: The toast returns to the top position.
