Bobbie was about 92 and a half years old here. She would be 93 in November. She has a lot of natural charm, appeal, and intelligence. She is a living history, not only of Texas broadcasting, but of American broadcasting. She is fantastic.
God I love this woman. At her age, speaking so eloquently and precisely, I soak up her stories about her and her grandad in the 30s witnessing the beginning of TV like a sponge. She has interviewed and met more celebrities than I can imagine. A legend.
I saw Bobbie back in November 2021 at Ruta Lee's book signing at Casa Manana. She sat with Betty Bob Buckley, Actress Betty Buckley's mom, a full table of charming & fascinating ladies. I first meet her at a Dolly Parton concert at the historic Panther Hall Ballroom. She looked in great shape & vivid mind. She is truly a Texas legend.
She was a legend here in Fort Worth, and on the wider Fort Worth-Dallas TV Market. Before cable and many UHF stations, Bobby Wygant's segment on the Channel 5 news was legendary. Thank you for including this true legend. I met her once, and she was most, most gracious!
the assassin's shots came from the Dal-Tex building that lines up perfectly with Elm street NOT the red herring sniper's nest on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository...and no shots came from the grassy knoll.
@@FrankIsAlwaysRight One long-held and famous conspiracy theory holds that JFK was shot by a second gunman from a grassy knoll. While the flaws of this theory have already been pointed out by some, a new study published in the journal Heliyon may finally put the idea to rest. Supporters of this theory tend to use the infamous Zapruder film-which captured the killing-to bolster their claim, pointing to the fact that Kennedy's head moves in a backward and leftward motion after the bullet's impact, apparent proof that he was shot from the front as well as from behind (by Oswald). But new analysis of the Zapruder footage conducted by Nicholas Nalli from I.M. Systems Group shows that JFK's reactions after being shot are physically consistent with the results of the official autopsy findings: that he was killed by a gunshot to the back of the head, fired from a high-energy Carcano rifle (the one used by Oswald) located in the vicinity of the Texas School Book Depository.
We love and miss, Bobbie Wygant.
