I own a modelyear 2002 S2000 since 2010 and i'am still in love with this car but i'am glad it is not my daily driver.
I drive it on sunny days and in holidays and it is the most fun in areas as the German Eifelroads and in the Alps/Dolomites.
In the winter when there is that dirty and bad salt on the roads it is parked in my garage.
Bought it in 2010 with 80000kilometers and now it is at about 186000km.
No big builds, only OEM 17inch facelift wheels and KW V3 coils.
Here in Europe all the new delivered S2K's are AP1 with the 2 liter engine and revs to 9000rpm!!!
I love the VTEC kicking in at 6000rpm and rev it to 9000rpm, oh yeah!!!..........
About the prices raising............i don't know what to expect. The NSX is already very expensive for a good example but it is more rare.
What are the fuel prices doing in the future?! Here in the Netherlands 1 liter octaan 98 is already 2,50EURO.
So when i like to drive my S2K, i do it and the rest is future.

I daily drove an 03 s2k for 5+ years and 100k miles. You can do it if youre in your early 20s lol. Still, I had to cancel or change plans frequently because theres just no room for anything. And it wears you out on long road trips.

Bought my ap2 for $7000 with 104k miles back in 2014. It's insane to see that the same car i bought could easily fetch 12k+ these days

Yes you can daily drive it. I had a 2004 S2000 AP2 for 5 years and it was my only vehicle. Had to sell cause I had kids and needed a 4 door. So I got a Honda Pilot.

When I game on a pc I want the best experience, When listening to music or audio it's either nothing or the best sound quality. When I'm picking a life partner she better love me as much as I love her.
So when I'm picking a daily there better be complaints, but that one thing.. the driving experience better be the best of the best.

I did for 16 years. The reality is that at 70, it's very noisy, and the ride can be harsh on bad sections.

I physically can’t fit in it. Otherwise I’d have one.
I just make it into a GR86 in relative comfort. So I’m getting one of those.
