nice ford tractor, they are easy to repair and work on. with the stock ignition every so often it is good to check the points, and the timing. nice video, take care and be safe out there.
Nice to see the Ford made ready to work! I didn't think about backing into a stick, but I could see it would be easy to puncture the radiator that way.
Excellent video also glad could get new rad for that old Ford tractor plus send unit plus gauge too and thought Temperature sensor may need Telephon tape on threads so won't leak to add and but didn't need it all!
Love those old Fords. The 1953 Golden Jubilee (naa) was the original version of that series. Do you guys use a overrunning clutch at the pto output, so the bush cutter can't drive the wheels when you push in the clutch and the trans is still in gear ? I was quite surprised about the axle in the J.D.
Did the radiator end up holding up ok? I got one from kumar bros, looks like that’s what you had. I had to trim fan blades down as they kept hitting the hose. Then while doing dirt work the lower neck and drain plug shifted and the radiator busted open. I’ve worked on this thing so many times I’m about to give up
Cute little tractor, my uncle had a Ford Ferguson very similar. What is it with Ford tractors and cigarette lighters? My neighbor had a little ten horse Ford lawn tractor and it had a cigarette lighter too!
The little ford's are pretty simple. Ford squeezed everything as tight as possible. At least your distributor is on the side and not the front like the 9N.

Nice to see you working on your grandfathers tractor
Cool little tractor and so simple to fix. Now Grandpa Ed is ready for planting season.
Good job. I like those old tractors. I have a 414 IH loader tractor

I liked that radiator change.

Rubber grease on hose, good stuff.

Be careful on painted surfaces that you want to save. It will eat the paint as well
