    Hey! Think you could make a Hylian Sheild with a handle. Also can you put an handle on the Sheath so it can be on your back. Thanks!

      +Mighty Jabba's Collection Thank you! And yeah, she's amazing. I'm still hoping to get her in one of the videos eventually. But I thank her all the time because I wouldn't be able to make these look even close to this good. So I owe a lot to her. :)

    I cant deny that i wasn't a bit disappointed this week :) When you did the quick tease the other week, all I seen was the "W" shape cross guard. Since I've been on a Dawn of Justice/DC work up, I thought you were doing Wonder Woman's sword! It does look awesome though and expert assembly/painting by your wife (two thumbs up to her!).
    I think it's time for some shelves in your computer room. I know Thor's Hammer been a bit lonely but not it has a sword to talk to at night. Thanks once again for your hard work!

    • @ChaosCoreTech0
      @ChaosCoreTech0  8 лет назад

      +neckbreaker Oh lol, yeah I've thought about doing some Batman v Superman stuff. I really want to do the Kryptonite Spear but there's no good references images out for it yet. So I'll definitely do that in the future.
      And I agree about the shelves. There's too much stuff to do and not enough money or time lol. I think I might actually be moving to a new area of my house and trying to build a sort of studio that's optimized for filming my videos. And there I will definitely have some nice shelves to showcase my stuff. :)

      3d printing can be costly depending on the filament use, labor, print time, etc.

    I found this on thingiverse, but my printer is only 6x6x6 inches, would the sword still be holdable if the parts were scaled down to be 6 inches tall (and equal scaling for handle pieces)?

    Am i supposed to sand the handle, pommel and the guard, or just the blade itself? The question also applies to applying primer

  • @MisterMoto138

    I reccomend Zap A Gap glue and use the accelerator, it dries near instantly, one catch is it is CA glue so you nay get white spots, but since you paint you models it should not be a problem, also props to your wife for doing an awesome paint job.

    Hello man! i'm trying to make a master sword tutorial using some gray cardboard (i think this only exists here on brazil) And it would be awesome if i could use your 3d file to create layers (in 123D make) to cut out of cardboard, so, if you could send me the full sword 3d file i could give credit to you and your channel, what do you think?

    That's were I went wrong! I didn't let the gorilla glue cure properly! I rather stupidly broke my master sword at one of the joins, I have fixed it though but I think I'll go over it again using a plastic glue I have made by UHU to fill in what gaps there are (once the gorilla glue has fully cured).
    How easy is it to print in pla? I have a da vinci AIO and not printed in pla yet.

  • @TheAppStop

    I love this though i wont lie my irresponsible side was hoping you would see how much damage that could do to a tree or box lol I was just curious what do you do with your prints I imagine you have by now more then a shelf worth lol

    • @ChaosCoreTech0
      @ChaosCoreTech0  8 лет назад

      +TheAppStop Lol yeah, that would be fun, but I imagine the outcome would be me smacking something and it falling apart lol. And as for my prints, I mostly put them on display either behind me (like Mjolnir, the Plasma Pistol and R2D2) or in the little slots in my desk (like Citron). I'm eventually going to get some sort of shelving to put them on so it looks better. Not sure what I'm going to do with this sword though lol. It's pretty big.

    • @ChaosCoreTech0

    how much could it cost?

    • @ChaosCoreTech0
      @ChaosCoreTech0  8 лет назад +1

      +Daniel Bustos (makinon127) Well it depends a lot on which filament you choose to print and things like that. But for this one specifically, I printed it out of Hatchbox PLA filament. So not taking into account for labor costs or anything like that, just for raw materials (filament, paint and glue), I'd say it was close to $30 for both this and the sheath.
