You're so real for this - my husband and I are in the middle of the home buying process too and the market is SO HARD right now, it's impossible not to get emotionally invested when you FINALLY find something worth buying and then lose it. We've been searching hardcore for 8 months and only found two houses worth making an offer on - lost both to offers that waived inspection! I FEEL FOR YOU ❤
we’re in the same boat. Every house we see sells immediately, or they accept their offers. We might end up renting and waiting till the market calms down to try vying again. 😢

Girl just figure out the builder of your dream house and contact them! They may have others or be able to build for you

So I’m in peoples houses all the time- I stage them…I too am nosey. So I fell in love with a house I worked on….I went home told my husband and he refused to even enthuse the idea. He crushed my dreams. It was the perfect house but there’s always an even more perfect house, don’t be discouraged ❤️ the right house will find you

The market rn is not for sellers. It hasn’t evened out from the peak. You may have to sit on your house for a year or 2!! As much as you don’t want to!

Why did the offer fall through just because you could not sell your home in 30 days? It seems like that would not impact the seller.

I’m sorry 😢 I think I lost my dream house too, the first one I loved.
I close on my new build in 25 days and I’m so excited but this process has been so stressful. The rates are 6-8 percent unless you buy down points and the prices are expensive. It sucks but I can’t afford to rent with a growing family 😢

You mentioned you didn’t know much about real estate, I only worked in the industry for about a year and in that short time I have seen TONS of crazy things happen. Honestly, you guys putting in another offer and getting the home isn’t even a long shot. Praying you guys get it! 🙏🏻
You and I literally have the same house buying timeline and I am regretting my old house buy and want a new build. I haven’t actually put it on the market but I think it’s going to be hard to sell and I just want something with less problems.

If you offered to pay their mortgage until you sold the house you could look into a bridge loan. Pay the bridge loan until you sell your house instead of the seller. I TOTALLY agree that it's super frustrating. I am a Realtor in South FL.
Also! The air bnb market is terrible. When you list your home, have your agent target long term investors. Hope this helps!

I’m really confused why you had to pay for the fence if it was your neighbor’s tree, in MA where we live if that was our neighbor’s tree, they’d be responsible for the fence repair
