Any Bob Dylan fans who've sort of accidentally happened upon this singer (as happened in my case) could do themselves a huge favor by listening to her other youtube offerings. It doesn't matter that you probably do not speak the language. You can hear the voice. The intimate, spectacular, tremelo especially --it is exquisite. Count me "a fan".

Lovingly chilly and silky voice. This in one of my Dylan favorites and I thought it was insurmountable. Severa's rendition has made my knees buckle! Absolutely beautiful!

Nine years later I confirm. One of the best covers I've always heard, sung by one of the most moving voices ever heard!
One of my favourite Dylan songs....heard that many covers I usually don't bother to listen after the first 30 seconds. Stayed for the entirety of this one...found it seriously good. The emphases in the lyrics, the light and shadow, raise this cover way above others.
This is what you get when you make a cover based on how you feel the song and don't try to feel what you can't feel.
I've listened to this cover about a million times and I still need to hear it from time to time. Thank you.

What a great performance. I love Dylan's original, one of his greatest songs. The Alison and Shelby version breaks your heart. But that brought me here. And what a discovery. I want to hear more from this terrific artist.

Amazing voice. What an amazing find. I actually like it better than Dylan's version. It's a song you want to hear alone well into the evening, over and over again. Beautiful. I wish this was a record I could buy on Amazon Music or iTunes.

Yes, this cover is fantastic, I'd say the best one from the lot on the compilation.
When she sings it, the song becomes touching on an entirely different level. She, a young beautiful woman, reiterating the words of an old man, who is, in his last albums, obviously looking back, looking in and quietly, in a bitter-sweet way, saying goodbye.
