Got to see Tangerine Dream live back in late 80s, maybe it was early 90s. The stage looked like inside of a computer tower, awesome show. These recordings are great, but it’s nothing like actually being there.
What a treasure! Makes me very happy
Splendid sound.
This sounds a lot heavier than the Poland Concert. Really like the thickness of sound. Thank You for posting.
Yes, the sound was indeed much harder. The bass was even stronger than here - the whole house vibrated!
This is total craziness ... I can only imagine being there enjoying light and sound in a world class show.... I dont think we will ever see shows like these ( Pink Floyd , Genesis , Tangerine Dream , ELP ) never ever again , where light and sound take you to another level in space...
We still have "Nektar" to fill that void!
@@scottruof3924 ... Great and there must be a few others , but I would say that most of them are , basically , older groups ... They may not play much longer ... which would mean the end of this type of music ... sadly ... Am I right or wrong ? ... I listen to what my nephews ( in their early to mid 20's ) listen to and it´s all garbage ...
@@reileone I totally agree that this type of music (and live shows) are unfortunately dying out. And yes, today's music is absolutely Garbage!
Wow, I didn't know they had played in Dresden at this time. I only knew about their concert in East-Berlin...this is a treasure found, not knowing there was such a piece. Many thanks Richard, you made my day. ;o)...
Awesome thanks for this ❤
a minute of silence for the dresden holocaust
💙💜🩷Fascinating🩷💜💙
Not really live, I am afraid. All the concerts of the 1983 tour sound exactly the same.
Yea. I’m rather sure they improvised very little, if at all, during this tour. Mostly just made sure the sequencers didn’t screw up and wash, rinse, repeat.
After 1979 I guess it stopped to be live improvisations, going from analogue to those digital synthesizers. Sad story. Even if this is good...
Yeah that era of improvising live a lot ended around the Tangram era. Still my favorite TD period is definitely the early 80s. Tangram-Poland is a perfect streak of albums.
Where d'ya get all those rarities from, I am so impressed and thankful. Luv.
I bought a copy of the double LP live album of their Poland tour the same year from a guy in Warsaw on Ebay ten years ago - he hadn't actualyy seen their 1983 shows over there though, to his regret... 😃
i 've got Poland album, one of the greatest. I even nearly have been there, but was too young, but this thing is something ; )@@louise_rose
