Barton makes some cool straps. Their quick release straps are really nice and easy to change out. May have to look at one of those gators for the sarb .
I've seen the light brown gator strap on seikos, looks VERY sharp. Next week i'm getting myself a Gen 2 Orient defender, switching it out with the light brown gator strap, and replacing the buckle with a brushed stainless deployant clasp. All off of Amazon. I think it's going to look appealing.
I have some of these Barton alligators. I don't use them because 1. the leather is not very pliable and too thick 2. If you want alligator, buck up and buy alligator, stamped out patterns on leather look like stamped out patterns on leather, 3. the colors are too bright, not subdued like real aniline dyed straps made by craftsmen. They do make some nice leather natos, and the suede line is nice as well. Etsy has good sources for individuals making custom straps from exotic hides, not that bad on price either, can be found for under a hundred dollars. I guess for people on a tight budget, these are ok. But they will not fool a watch guy into thinking its gator.
I recently looked at these and would think a black alligator strap would dress up my Speedmaster nicely! Great review, Rob! They look like good quality and I’ll take your word for it. Thanks for the opportunity

I got the tan and the black. The tan looks great due to the contrasting colors that give the "cracks" depth, but the black looks way too phony and I could not bring myself to ever use it.
Wow I absolutely love the toffee color strap! Would look amazing on my timex weekender chronograph! Currently on a Barton leather nato but could definitely use an upgrade!

I have a Barton Elite silicone strap that I use with a quartz beater diver. I’m gonna check their site for one I can use with my STO Samurai.
