Auto lift is for when you’re ploughing and you want to return it to the same depth below ground for the next run having lifted it to turn around at the end of a run before starting on the next one. You don’t need it for mowing.
Great video! I am looking at the very same tractor, and I am wondering how happy you are with it? Any issues yet, yeah just your thoughts on the pros and cons. Cheers.
So far very happy with it. Only issue to date has been the battery losing charge over extended periods of no use. I’m using the isolator now and a small 12v solar cell to maintain it for use on colder days. Other than that (touch wood!) - no other issues to report.
On paper it’s 850kg excluding the attachment. I can lift most bulk bags - ie top soil / compost and seeds. If pebbles / stone then it becomes a little more stressful! I put a 6ft bucket (4in1) which is struggled with. A 5 ft standard bucket is fine however for other duties.
Your three year old daughter shouldn’t ride in the cab of the tractor, it’s illegal in the UK. Draught control only needed when using soil engaging machinery such as ploughs, subsoilers etc.Just use position control for topping/mowing. You can lift the topper when the PTO is working but not too high.Ideally keep the PTO shaft as straight and level as possible.
bro don't be a kill joy, I grew up on a farm and it's an absolutely amazing childhood to have I'd never swap it for a city/village child hood. I spent hours with my dad on all machinery doing things I shouldn't and never got hurt once. If she's with a responsible adult she will be just fine and it wouldn't be fair to take the great child hood she has from her for the sake of the "law" don't be a lefty and spoil people's fun.
Not trying to be a lefty or spoil anyone’s fun. Unfortunately the law is there for a reason whoever, you, I,Tom, Dick, Harry or even Harriet disagrees with it.
first time to see same model Solis 50 on youtube hahaha! omg!

Quick question I was looking into getting a solis 50 and trading in my compact telehandler, how much weight can the front loader lift?
