Escribo para felicitarte por tan buenos videos y pedirte una asesoria.
Tengo este mismo equipo 820-01958 que me llego con daño por liquido en la zona del U3100, F3000 y D3322. Ya los quite y los reemplace por unos nuevos.
La macbook presenta un consumo de 5v y 220ma y después de 13 segundos se apaga el consumo y vuelve a encender.
Soy un tanto nuevo en la reparación de estos modelos, los anteriores los domino bien.
Tienes algun video con ese comportamiento? o que me recomiendas hacer?

Que más hermano saludos, el reinicio es en puertos? Chequea si las G3H se están creando, DCIN_G3H, BUS_G3H y 3v3_G3H
@@Juan4Repair Estos son los valores que tengo.
PPDCIN_G3H 5v. Se apaga al apagarse el puerto
PPBUS_G3H 12.28 v Se apaga al apagarse el puerto
PP3V3_G3H 3.3v Se mantiene aunque se apaga el puerto.
PP3V3_G3H_RTC 3.2 Se apaga al apagarse el puerto
PP5V_G3S 0v.
Como uno de los puertos no encendia, quite el U3100.
Estoy haciendo las pruebas solo en el puerto del U3200 sin el U3100 instalado. ¿ Hay algún problema por eso?. Pregunta de novato en estos modelos. ¿Debería funcionar con solo este chip instalado?
Según lo que entiendo de algunos video que he visto, una de las primeras señales que generan los U3100 y U3200 es la linea PP3V3_UPC_X_LDO para encender la EPROM.
En mi caso esta linea PP3V3_UPC_X_LDO la tengo en 0v. repito solo con un U3200 instalado.

Si o si requiere el otro puerto no te trabajará con uno solo
muy buenos tus videos... tengo una macbook air A2179 la compre para repararla de la pantalla, ya la cambie, al encenderla solo me deja entrar por modo de recuperación por internet y al seguir los pasos me pide que ingrese la cuenta de correo pero lo la se ni la persona que me la vendió, ay alguna forma de quitar o formatear sin ocupar la cuenta o ya no sirve? gracias

not bad! if im going to be a critic, id say explain next time why you didn't need to replace the cap. im guessing because there were so many in series, the one didn't make that much difference, is that right?

It only increases the odds for more in series to fail.
That’s correct buuutttt yes the rule says that the cap needs to be replaced and I do it almost the 95% of the time but on the videos to not make it longer just shows the repair.

Always 20V and 5.1A that’s how I set up my power supply for all Macs

Amazing skill ! I don't know where do the schematics come from, and which "find out where the IC is" software you use, but it is impressive. I would live close to your workshop to bring my A2179 MBA, but Europe is too far !!!

@@Juan4Repair Thanks !!! I finaly found a very nice repair shop near home, using similar (but not Xinzhizao) schematics application they fixed the power supply side and replaced the dead battery.
@@macfunz good to hear. How much did the repair cost?
@@tiranasawrus5148 Around 180 Euros. Not original Apple battery but a good one, it is a part of their reputation.

Hello can you tell me where I can find the t2 rom chip on the A2179 logic board please.
Is the big IC that says T2 on top I think is under a shield together with the power supply.

@@Juan4Repair im getting 12v on ppbus_g3h but only 5v into the port, what do you think the issue could be? board had a coffee spill but no signs of damaged components
Could be anything hard for me to give you any advice if there is liquid involved
