There’s something so pleasing from watching you plan! I love these videos, thank you!
@theletteredclassroom
I love your OOTW-gives me ideas and places to find professional but comfy clothing to teach in. Will you PLEASE tell me what printer you use that works with your laptop so well? I am in desperate need for a new color printer.
Where do you teach that you can plan like this??!!!! Wow! This would make my life so much easier.
Second week with no new video, hope all is well with you. I love waking up Sunday morning and watching you and Michelle (Pocketful of Primary). Hope to see more videos from you soon, you are full of such great ideas, inspiration and encouragement!
Heather Gehrke those two channels are the same ones I watch too!!! Always getting great ideas from them both! ☺️
I love that you show your outfits! I’m always in a rut in the mornings to find an outfit 😕.
I'd love to hold your hand
Mrs Spackman :)
Thank you for sharing your amazing ideas and practice ! It s very helpful 👍
I have 5 groups in each of my ELA blocks ranging from G to U. I am finding it difficult to find lower level
texts that work with grade level skills. I use my schools Scholastic book room, ReadWorks and random lit
pieces and articles from things I've found on line. My problem is finding selections that everyone can read
that applies to standard. This is not for guided reading groups, but rather mini lessons on ELA standards/
skills that students can work on independently, after the "I Do, We Do". I'm finding that most of the lower level texts don't actually have enough text, if that makes sense. Each of our RCD units have a "theme" and I am
trying to stay in theme for texts, which is probably my struggle. Any suggestions for finding meaty texts?
Thanks, Lesley
Good Morning! 😀. With your Word Study assessments, do you administer them weekly or do you administer your assessments bi-weekly? I am thinking of purchasing the Words Their Way books. Thank you for continuing to inspire me to be the teacher I want to be. I also like the way you batch your lesson plans throughout the week. I teach third grade, and our grade level team breaks up the lesson planning by each subject (I plan for Social Studies each week). This is what works for us but I know it’s different for everyone. I also agree with you when you discussed fun and engaging activities for students. I will be looking into the Breakout EDU website. I also believe that kids learn more when they are fully engaged and when they have those meaningful learning experiences! 😀
Can you go more in depth with the WTW test that grades it for you and how you do that? I am struggling to get my word study in. I have one hour to do 3rd grade ELA and am really struggling.
Hello, is this an IPad you are doing this calendar lesson planning? Thanks so much!
Podcast suggestions: True Crime Garage, Cult of Pedagogy, Teachers Pet (Murderinos and teaching go hand in hand.)
Love your digital planner!!! Definitely making the investment on an iPad and the Apple Pencil for next school year.
Is the planner for 1 school year with dates, or is it a one time buy and I fill in the dates year after year?
Where do you get the anthologies you use for your last group? Are they available online ?? Thanks!!
Please tell me what app are you using for your lesson plans?
What are you using to write on your ipad with?
Thanks for this!!! But I have to say --- Goldilocks being misspelled is driving me INSANE!!!! (OCD)
Hi Bridgette, have you got a grip cover for your apple pen?
I wasted my money buying the headphones at Dollar Tree. The quality is horrible. My students kept complaining about an inability to hear. When I was able to listen for myself, they were absolutely correct. I got what I paid for.
100% agree lol
Agreed!
What grade do you teach ?😊
How do you spell that site you use? Squilagy?
Schoology
Thank you. That makes sense. I couldn't get anything to come up in a search.
